Accountability post 02/15/2021-02/28/2021 I watched all of the live webinars and videos that were emailed to me the last two weeks. I finished watching all of my mentor's videos. I went through a few of his watchlists that he posted from when he first started. It was interesting how his process has changed since then. I have made watchlists for him every day except for the day he gave us homework and Friday last week, because I couldn't find anything good to watch for the setups I have been focusing on. I have been doing well on my trades. I am slowly digging myself out of the $SLV hole that I dug for myself. I am still listening to the audiobook "Hedgefund Market Wizards" by Jack Schwager. I started working out again, so hopefully I can get this one finished soon. I have been listening to the "Steady Trade" podcast while driving around town. I am still reading "The Psychology of Trading" by Brett Steenbarger. It is a really good book so far. I am also still reading "The Great Crash" by Selwyn Parker on my Kindle. I have watched chapters 1-5 of Tim Grittani's "Trading Tickers 2." I am currently on Chapter 6 which entails his new "Day 1 Doji Strategy." The live trades are just as helpful to me as the live trades in the first one. I like this one better though, as he has tightened up his risk management. This aligns with my personality a lot more. I am glad I purchased this. I think these short strategies will help me a lot in option trades that I do on the downside. Speaking of options, I found out that Stefanie Kammerman has a free chatroom, and she gives out her whispers for free every Friday morning at 8 am in that chatroom. I have been experimenting with a few, and I plan to try her Stock Whisperer app for the next month so I can get more up to date data. I already made enough money on the trades I have made using her free whispers to justify the $19.99 cost. In my trading journal, I have been indicating which trades that I have been using her dark pool data as one of my indicators. I am closing out February as my biggest red month at -$2421.56 losses. I started the month with losses at $2723.53, so I am happy with the small improvement over the course of the month. Tomorrow, I can wipe the slate clean, and I can work towards a green month. I haven't had one of those in a while! Goals.

Good luck this month! I had a mixed February, though am holding on to too many crappers that I've been holding onto for a swing trade, or a practice. Luckily they aren't too expensive if they truly go into the crapper. Planning to be better prepared in March and keep focused on the best plays. Best of luck to you in March! I know you're going to kill it!

Accountability post 02/01/2021-02/14/2021 I watched most of the live webinars and video lessons emailed to me over the past two weeks. The two that I missed I plan to watch either today or tomorrow. I am halfway through with watching my mentor's videos. I plan on finishing this up in the near furure, and I want to start watching the watchlist videos he posts too. I created a watchlist for him every day the past two weeks except the day after my disastrous $SLV trade. I took this day off to remove myself from the market and to collect my thoughts. I have been doing very well on my watchlists. Ellis is really happy with my strategies, and gives me pointers on the ones that need work. I have been trading off of my watchlists, and I have made a few small gains. I am still listening to "Hedgefund Market Wizards" by Jack Schwager. I took a break from lifting weights because of a pinched nerve in my back, so haven't I been hitting the audiobook as much. I am still listening to Michael Covel's "Trend Following" podcast when I am driving around the city. I finished reading "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefevre. It was a good book, and it taught me a lot about market maniputation and trading in general. It was hard to follow in some places, because there is slang that he used that is over my head. I got the gist of what he was saying though, and I found it helpful. I started reading "Dark Pool Secrets" by Stefanie Kammerman. Wow, Wow, WOW, what a great read! I couldn't put it down, and I finished it in one day! There is a companion DVD that came with it that I plan to watch today if I get time. She doesn't just talk about the dark pool prints in the book, she also gives her day trading and swing trading strategies and the technical indicators she uses for high probability trades. She definitely matches my technical trading style, and I love her system. I can't wait to test it out with some options paper trades. The next book I am reading is "The Psychology of Trading" by Brett Steenbarger. I purchased Tim Grittani's "Trading Tickers 2" DVD, and I have watched Chapters 1 and 2. So far, I am pleased with it. I am looking formward to the chapter on spreadsheets. I have been watching the market everyday. I check tickers that other traders call out, and I determine if they are tradable ot not. It's a little excercise I like to do, but I don't trade them. I am starting to see the difference between a high probability trade and a trade that isn't worth it. I was able to sit on my hands all day on Friday the 12th even though one of my picks ALMOST lived up to my plan. I am glad I had patience, because it ended up failing. I am still sticking to my professional routine, and I am very confident of my success in the future!

How exciting! I am going to have to look for some of those books myself.

I'm really happy for the way things have been going for you. I need to start listening to those audio books, just to get other perspective and additional information. I probably should read that book you reference by Brett Steenbarger.

@StefanSchwarz13 it’s supposed to be one of the best books on trader psychology there is. He was interviewed in one of the Matket Wizards books, I don’t remember which one. It was a great interview.

Accountability post 07/22/2020-08/04/2020 I watched all of the live webinars and emailed video lessons for the last two weeks. I am almost done reading "The Complete Turtle Trader" by Michael Covel. I am still reading "How Yoga Works" by Geshe Michael Roche. I finished the audio book, "Market Wizards" by Jack Schwager. I was going to get the next one in the series, but I decided to listen to the original one more time. I really enjoyed this book! I finished the "Trading Tickers" DVD. Loved it and will revisit it again in the future. I was contacted to do a review on it for $50 and I did. The guy is probably making more in affiliate payments then he paid me, but I thought it was cool to get paid for something I wrote, haha! I also finished the Tim Raw DVD. Not my favorite, lol. It's right up there with Timline. I started the DVD, "Reading SEC Filings." Michael Goode actually does wonders to make this subject interesting. It's not as bad as I thought, but I am still only taking it in half hour chunks. It does tend to make me sleepy if I go longer. Last week I had to help my parents again. They drove down to Vegas with a load of stuff, and we put it in their new apartment. I also had cataract surgery in my right eye. I went blind about 8 years ago from diabetic retinapathy after I gave birth to my daughter, so I had to have a surgery to correct my vision in both eyes. The surgery made it so that my cataracts would progress faster than normal. It was crazy when I got the surgery, because I was the youngest person in the surgery center! Anyway, I was busy again these past two weeks, so that's all of the studying I got done. I spent most market days looking at the market and practicing a few trades. I was really proud of most of them. I practiced my r/m strategy, but I might be cutting the trades too quickly. I have to remember to try to hold past 10%. I don't have this problem when I play options. I have been doing more research on trading options, and hopefully I can learn a couple of good strategies to supplement stock trading. I am able to make a nice little profit off of a small position. I am very comfortable in options trades. I played options 3 more times the past two weeks on $SLV.

@gil_fl I had Vitrectomy surgery in both eyes. They take the vitreous fluid out and replace it with silicone. My vitreous fluid was saturated with blood, which is why I couldn't see. I don't know what it is about the surgery that makes cataracts progress faster. My doc told me to expect it and it happened.

science is so amazing! I was an operating room nurse 100 years ago, and I was in those cataract cases. Are you all done with that? When do you go back? Best wishes! I remember how patients go to sleep and when they woke up they can see clearly for the first time in a long time

@gil_fl I get my left eye worked on this coming Thursday. I was unconscious for my vitrectomy surgerites, but for the cataract surgery I only had general anesthesia. I was awake during the whole thing. I had to stare at a light the whole time. It only took about 15 minutes and he was done. It was super easy!

Had a green day today thanks mostly to $SLV call options from yesterday and rebuys today. Sold the $20 call option too soon but still locked in over 150% profit which was a great boost to my confidence. Had a couple of plays that didn't go my way but cut losses quickly and ended up with a small gain out of 1. Rebought the $22.50 call option on $SLV looking to sell tomorrow into strength if not ITM. Waiting for my new laptop to come in so I can finally start running STT with the Breaking news tool and I'm excited for that to start probably the beginning of next month!
