Entry comments: Have a good news and spiked 200%throughout the day, bought it in the afternoon thinking that it will spike near close or next day. Goal is to sell with 10-20% profit. Will cut losses if went below 6.40 at 4%.
Exit comments: Dropped too low near about 6.10, So i cut losses at 6.44 and the stock is back to its highs again after I sold it.
I need to stop buying setups that don't work for me and be patient as well as accept the fact that I'm going to miss some plays. I lose the vast majority of HOD breaks I buy so I'm done with that setup, I can't make them work. This is the second one today alone that I've tried to buy that's gapped down.
Had my sons final basketball Ceremony to attend 1 hour after market open. I saw this breaking out premarket on good news 100% and then watched it fall over a dollar at the market open. Couldn't resist buying when momentum changed direction back upwards. Had to sell b4 I left the house. Been high volume all day & I left a lot of profit on the table. But happy I got at least a piece of it.
Definitely chased this one, went off to lunch came back to see this has created new HOD. Watch is consolidated below 5.90 mark. When it perked up I thought it was going to squeeze further. Took a position when it had a small pull back, sold immediately right after as it didn't have a fast enough squeeze with that pop. Besides I tell myself never to trade mid day, glad to be green on this one, and won't make it a habit.
