This stock seemed to be forming a bull flag on the daily chart, had some good news lately about a new contract, company looked good fundamentally and it was in a clear uptrend. My plan was to hold a few days if it held 11.65 and ride it for the gap fill. However, the stock had little volume and didn't seem to be able to run some more but I had patience. I sold it in a morning panic, afraid it could break support and go even lower.
This was going as planned. However after the 10:30 AM mark, this slowly started creeping and all my orders started getting executed. The lesson on this one was to never short earning's winners even on second day. This company had announced earnings at 5:20pmprevious night and I missed that part. Don't touch earning's winners because they can have legs.
