Entry comments: Brfeakout over previous highs, fastttttt....buying the breakout on this big runner, goal is to sell in the 11 or 12as, moves so fast, small position, cut losses if it can't continue breaking out
Exit comments: Whewww, what a rush but definitely a scary play, I'm just gonna lock it in and be safe, glad to take a solid chunk along the way as midday breakouts have been hot lately
Day. Entered on a Dip Buy from 7.96 because this formed a nice cup & handle. Did another trade because I know my short squeeze thesis is good. The LVLs look too clean. Added into strength based on these LVLs. Entered 5@8.06, initial risk was wide, 7.06, TGT 10 (2R). Added 2@8.53, 3@9.06; Ave 8.454, raised risk to 8. Sold 1/2 @ 9.50 because of nerves, 3@TGT 10, & save 2 for 11. Last 2@11. Ave 9.95.Great trade! Good read of chart! Hit all my LVLs.
Bought this when it was about to retest HOD. I did chase a bit, which is why I chose to go with such a small position. It toughed my menta stop loss and then moved up so I held through some choppiness. Since, based on the action, it was holding up and gave me the impression that it could possibly still make a solid move to the upside, I sold into strength as soon as it made a NHOD. Good timing on my part too, since it dropped nearly .4 in the same minute and down to 2.55 a few minutes later.
