Saw this Premarket. The float was tiny and the M.cap. I wanted in because i knew there would be volatility right at the open. I got in on a deep premarket around 9;10 am. Stock behaved well and i got the spike at the open. Got my points profit then i bailed out. Stock was an E/r but was up too much premarket. played it safe.
Entry comments: 5th attempt. This is the play I should have waited for at 9:30aish, and holding at 200 min MA, and now it’s magic short float squeeze hour. CAn it hold? I have a stop loss at 5.09 ish, let it break to 5. It’s ok, gotta take the risk to make the gains. This was my play all day instead of rushing into others and let it play out during low float short squeeze magic hour. [Webull]
Exit comments: Good attempt, watched carefully. At first careful not to set a stop too wide cause I always get stopped out before it rips. It riped to 6.08ish then came crashing down. Sold at 5.7, couldn't risk a collapse. It's a choppy beast and this keeps me on my toes on executing and observing. Good education. Interesting observ that right when DJI blew out to new highs, it spiked. Anyway perhaps I should have held. As appears to be squeezing after exited and pulled back. ugh who knows?
Entry comments: I'm still early in the learning phase so I just loaded up all the tickers on Tim's watchlist (Thanks Tim!) in thinkorswim and watched at market open. FCEL looked like it was getting the most action so I bought when it beat yesterday's high.
Exit comments: My first day trade ever! Pool technicians showed up to work on my pool while I was watching it go up but I decided to sell for a small gain rather than risk losing big, especially since I don't know enough yet to predict with any accuracy when the price will drop.
this stock did what i expected, had a morning spike, broke above previous days highs, but it has a high share float and had low volume, i made the mistake of first not selling into strength, and then not selling when the price proved the breakout wasn't holding, i was up 500 in the 3.8s. Need to pay more attention to the facts when im in a trade, a 100m float company will not continue going up on 600k volume.
