dumb trade. no plan. all emotion. was mad that i sold the day before as i was planning on holding overnight until a panic at the close scared me out. I was mad not only for taking the loss, but if i held i wouldve turned a profit. But the only thing i regret was making THIS trade. Selling due to a panic the night before is good habits. bad odds. Create good habits. Cut losses quickly. dont make emotional trades
Had to get out, this one was not doing what I wanted, was down almost $120 at one point and almost cut it up there.... Been stalking this one for a week to stay red and tank but it never happened. One of Tims rules, don't get married to a stock. This one needs to go and I'll focus on other plays now. Glad I got out with my previous gains intact.
Bought this as a swing trade prior to earnings a few weeks ago. I had plenty of times to sale with a gain but decided to wait for earnings which was mistake number 1. Mistake number 2 was not cutting my losses quickly which kept me holding this until i had enough cash to average down. The goal was to sell at break even or a lower % loss. When I was comfortable with my loss I sold to focus on other trades.
perfect set up, news came out that the bad news is over, the stock squeezed about 44 percent up to weekly resistance. shorted in to that. good strategy but i had a bad entry and was risking off of a random level instead of HOD, and my size was big thats why i was risking off a random level so i do not risk more than i could aford if i risked off of HOD. even with all those mistakes i should of had patience as the chart was giving me what i wanted. i chickened out
