I'm not sure if Profit.ly shows this or not, but in August 2013, I started with an account balance in my Etrade account of only $288.00. Since the maximum number of day trades is 3 within 5 business days with an account under $25,000, I opened up a fidelity account as well, and sometimes I would move money to trade in the other account if I used all 3 day trades within a couple days, so my trades are verified from two accounts. Right now, my entire account balance is in Etrade as I am just breaking above day trader status. I hope to have a Suretrader account going again soon so I can take advantage of shorting as well.
