@MichaelGoode hello! So today KOTV had a massive drop because of an offering I think. So I was wondering at what times can offerings be done? Do they have to have a shelf registration to do it during regular market hours or does it have to be an atm? Or does that not matter? Sorry if my question is unclear. I was just confused cause I see some stocks drop bc of offerings Overnight and some intraday and I’m not sure if there’s a specific reason for that or if the company is just releasing the offering whenever they want. Thank you!!!
@DevineMofo hey man! Today in chat you mathed that "100k shares is like 8.8M shares" you were talking about $OPTI with kroy. haha you mind explaining how you mathed that?
@kroyrunner Hey Tim! I was just wondering what were some of the best ways to think about slippage. I’ve seen your DVD’s and your pretty spot on with your covers or sells at your risk. I hope my question isn’t too confusing but I was just shorting $SURF this morning risking off of R/G and it almost reached R/G by .05 so I threw in a cover order for 51 shares at 5.95, got filled instantly, and then it never hit R/G and cracked like I wanted. Granted it was only 51 shares but I’m starting to feel anticipating the risk level being hit by putting an order in is not a good idea. So what are your thoughts on accounting for slippage should it look more like putting an order in as soon as it hits your risk or right after it hits and should I expect to change my mentality with bigger size? I do figure float, share count, and market cap would be factors so the bigger these are the more you can judge smartly how its acting around your risk level and the smaller they are the more aggressive you want to be with your covers or sells.
@kroyrunner Thank you again for all your wisdom and all that you do for the trading community!
@kroyrunner is it possible you upload your challenge webinars on youtube from time to time? Would be cool to see you have your own millionaire students too. Would email you my progress too, but know your emails are extremely loaded. Just an idea though. Thanks for Trading Tickers !
I picked up Your Tim Gritanni Traders Tickers and the content looks awesome Can you please keep me your weekly watch list that I get from Charles early every Sunday am, with an updated version on Monday or Tuesday? It augments Tim's plays and you go into some great detail about your inclinations with each stock. Thanks for ALL your help!
Hey Tim if I give you an Indonesian rupa you promised to turn it into a little more than the GDP of the entire world while I snort diet cocaine off a fat strippers ass at 3:00 in the morning because motivational speaker Eric Thomas told me to start early thanks

@MichaelGoode Hey Michael, while SRNE might be a little irrelevant right now I was trying to understand SEC filings better after your DVD and your YouTube interview with Bohen. So for SRNE on the 424B5 they are saying the offering is worth $250,000,000 and can be exercised at a price of 1.67 or it can be exercised ATM? If I got it wrong if you put could break down that offering or help me understand that would be absolutely amazing. Thank you!
"The Purchaser is an “underwriter” within the meaning of Section 2(a)(11) of the Securities Act. The Purchaser has informed us that it will use an unaffiliated broker-dealer to effectuate all sales, if any, of the Purchase Shares that it may purchase from us pursuant to the Purchase Agreement. Such sales will be made on the Nasdaq Capital Market at prices and at terms then prevailing or at prices related to the then current market price. Each such unaffiliated broker-dealer will be an underwrite

@kroyrunner Hey Tim, I did a private IM but I haven't ever received a message back from anyone that way lol so I thought I'd post here just in case. I asked about dollar volume the other day in chat, but I think I'm confused as to how that can be used as an indicator to help choose stocks. Why is it important to have good dollar volume in the stocks we ( or at least the ones you pick for instance you say you like a minimum of 3M) trade? Thank you!
@Bito $ volume is better than volume, because it helps give a better picture of liquidity dependent on the price of the stock. for example, a stock that is $1 and trades 10 million shares is far more liquid than a stock that is $0.01 and trades 10 million shares. So $ volume helps solve that problem and ensure that everything I scan for will truly have good liquidity regardless of price
@kroyrunner thank you for clarifying this

@Bito just became a fully transparent trader today!
@michaelgoode I’m sorry I meant KTOV
Offerings can be done at any time -- as long as there is an effective shelf registration. Even if there is no effective registration a company could do a PIPE with a promise to register those shares in the future.
Again, you da best thank you 🙏
