@GroundUp not sure what you have against this guy. Just because he isn’t posting his trades on Profitly or coming out with material it doesn’t mean he lost everything. All I know is that mason is one smart dude and knows what he is doing. He will definitely succeed.

Lots of good nuggs of wisdom here. I'm almost 2 months into the challenge now and glad to come across a post like this. It's refreshing to see some long bias, everywhere I turn it seems that people want to drop the hammer on stocks-ha! I can see where you are coming from with understanding the mindset of a short seller to help with long setups--Spikeability and Short Stocking have given me some perspective on this, as well as SEC filings and the book the art of short selling by kathryn staley se

It's always the ones who didn't make it trying to troll on others, discouraging them to do what they couldn't.

I discovered the recipe for success couple of decades ago and since then have employed hundreds of people. I've seen how some have potential of becoming successful, but some simply don't. The ones who don't are usually prisoners of their own perception and some of them even try to drag others into their own "miss-perception" without understanding how lost they are. Great job Dux! You "broke the code" with hard work in record time! Can't wait to see your video and your "angle" to trading.

@AnneMarita Ive managed people for the majority of my career, I have seen many of those you described trying to bring others down because e"they" didn't/couldn't do whatever it was that needed done. Its good to remind people of that... good job! & good luck!

With NADL at 2.70 now and the biggest % winner from the market open today, this is FAR and away best case scenario, I underestimated it, but if I had ANY longs left I'd be selling, not buying here, see last night's video lesson http://tim.ly/sykesnadl how I saw this setup ahead of time

Yes I did, I watched all the videos that you post, I understand the breakout, but what I don't understand what's the pattern that you follow and makes you do the trade without guessing

Tim, I sent this comment to IB as well but perhaps you could explain it to me better than them, this is on my demo account: I placed a trade on CNAT at $5.20 with a Profit Taker at $5.50 and Stop Loss at $5, the trade change direction and start going short and instead to executed the Stop Loss at $5 it did at $4.65 so what's the point to protect myself and place a Stop Loss if won't be executed, could you explain to me why that happen and if that happen all the time, I appreciate it. Thanks

Tim, today you shorted IDXG with Etrade, why is the reason that Etrade has the stock to trade and Interactive Broker doesn't, how you do you know or how you make the decision? the price of the stock are different in Etrade from Interactive Brokers? I'm still practicing with @timothysykes

What's the best layout at Interactive brokers? Just opened an account today. Any help on setting up the platform would be greatly appreciated.
