I wonder if somebody could help me understand this part about level 2.
if you have more buyers on the bid with more shares then it takes out the ask wich has less sellers with less shares. So the price goes up because the bid is pressuring the ask. The stock is going up.
And if you have a lot of sellers on the ask with a lot of shares to sell, and there is not so much buyers on the bid and also there is less shares to buy(the buying volume is fading) so the ask is pressuring the bid and the price goes down. The stock goes down.
I know that you can fake bids, not all brokers have this function but i am aware that you can do this.
So basically the bid and the ask are fighting, and he who has the most buyers/sellers with more shares wins the battle, and the goal is for bid to push the stock up if it wins and for ask to push the stock down if it wins?
Am i thinking right?
And also what does the red and the green and the white mean in time and sells (the print)
And what does taking out the bid, or taking out the ask mean or hitting the bid or hitting the ask?
Would really appreciate if somebody could explain to me
