Prove to yourself first that you're ready. You have 3 day trades per 5 rolling days, so you should at least be able to have 1 significant win that offsets the potentially 2 smaller controlled losses. Repeat consistently. If you can't do that now, what makes you think being able to trade more will allow you to? Focus on learning how to grow your account first, THEN worry about how to do it faster. If you follow Tim's materials, you have literally months and months of studying to do, and he covers

* a lot of non-day trading strategies. So you have options to trade without needing to day trade as well.

Was in on that trade, thought it bottomed around $1.45 so bought in and about 30min later started tanking even more. Got out at $1.35. Wish I had enough to be able to short stocks but I don't have enough money on ETrade to upgrade to a margin account.

@Torkers Trading this setup is still a little new to me but if a stock is trading above the sma(200) on a 5-minute chart, breaks an RSI of 60, and crosses above all three SuperTrend resistance levels I'm going to take the trade because the stock is clearly in a strong uptrend. When the MFI hits/nears 90 or the price touches/crosses the Upper Bollinger Band (20,3) I exit the trade. As for this trade, the stock was still below an RSI of 80 so it had a little more room to run. I generally try no

@Torkers I generally try not to take a trade unless I believe I can make about $1000 on it but sometimes that doesn't always pan out. I actually should have been in this trade at .60 but I was having platform issues. If you look at $THLD on a 5-minute chart it is pretty much the same setup.

there is just some tickers you know will tank, like GLBS. such a turd company and without huge amounts of volume will not be able to hold support

How long were you able to make $500 a week on Robin Hood? That seems like a good thing you had going, what made you want to change something up?

That sucks man sorry hear about the scam. I use Etrade as a broker also, tried using Etrade Pro platform to trade with but wasn't getting any good trades when I setup the screener and kept losing, just switched to using STT for screener and charts. So much easier to use. My opinion is to use Etrade as a the broker and use STT for screener/charting.

Congrats and it sounds like you're on the right path. You don't really need to trade daily honestly or hold overnight unless you have to or after seeing a potential that a company could go up the next day. However, you should never ever have to hold your position for the sake of not wanting to use one of your day trades. I think you have up to 3 or 4 trades depending on broker, if you nail those three trades, that should be plenty enough for a 5 rolling days. Good luck to you bud!
