I haven't put any of my money into the market yet, however I've been watching and trying to learn.
I found this high percentage gainer a couple weeks ago and noticed that it had some fluctuation over the course of the last few months. It was holding support several times at around 1.20 and had resistance at around 1.70.
ACW sells alloy wheels for cars, something I can understand having been in the automotive industry for almost a year now. Their latest news, if I understand it right, was that they had sold a subsidiary and were being bought by another company. Both of these were to occur on the first and second day of September.
Based on this news and the technical analysis, I figured it would spike soon after the deals with the other companies went through, and sure enough, there was a huge trading day right on the 2nd of September. The stock went from a little below 1.75 all the way to 2.56.
This is the first time I really feel like I understand at least a little of what I'm learning. So exciting!
Looking forward to more like this.
