Seen this stock on spiking during pre-market with volume and catalyst. My goal was to sell at pre-market highs at 6.50/7. Didn't notice the pullback at 5.50 after hours yesterday, so once it got there I waited and started to see price being rejected at 5.50. I cut losses quickly as I thought price was gonna head lower in which it did.
Saw this stock spiking pre market on e-commerce news, it was already up 100%+ up today. i miss the quick spike in the morning and when for a late day sqezze past 1.50 to 2. I looked away a price had already hit 1.60 soi got in. I decided to cut my losses because of how the stock was acting and got out at 1.37 play-consolidation play late day Notes: work on keeping stop loss tight in comparison to price for smaller loss
Seen this stock pre-market and it meet all of my requirements, got in at 2.05 and I was looking for the 2.30s at first but greed kinda took over and i wanted the 2.40s. By the time I told myself to sell it started to sell off. I stuck to my plan ( exit only if risk level is broken (small size) and that's what happened. Notes: sell at the previous highs, especially if it looks like it wot go higher
I had this recent runner on my watchlist. I seen it move and picking up volume pre-market, my plan was to get in at 6.50 with a stop of 6.25. I ended up getting in at 6.60 and figuredI could risk a extra 10 cents and aim to 60 cents. I got spooked out when i started to do a re-test and got out at 6.40. later to see that the stock did what I wanted to do and move much higher. Notes: make a plan and stick to it ( stop loss)
I seen this stock pre-market and it meet my requirements ( Pre-market action, catalyst, price and pattern. I waited for my entry and got in. Something was telling me to sell once it got to 4.50 cause of how the price was going but I wanted 4.60s. Forgetting that it was up from the 2's, it end up coming down, so i took a small loss.
Lost on this trade due to not following my plan, ( only trade from 8:00am - 11:00am ). I've been watching it pre-market and the open. I missed my original entry (the break of the morning flag). This would be the first trade I've placed in years of studying, procrastinating, etc... Even though it was a lost I'm glad I just enter the trade in the first place.
Entry comments: I saw this stock spiking earlier today in the 4.20 and told myself I wasnt going to chase and it spiked some more. Even thought is up a whole lot I was attemptting to dip buy it. I got in in at 5.30 risking the 50ema at 4.82.
Exit comments: It reached my exit price and i got out thinking it would just drop and the dropped would be to fast, so i just wanted to cut the lost fast.
Entry comments: Saw that this stock was be talked about in the chart room, saw gapping up on a little volume and news. Entry was over pre-market highs 3.35.
Exit comments: Wasn't paying attention to see that its gapped right into resistance at 2.40 which i got exacuted at, timing was off trying to get out (Note: Look at all time frames for levels and write them down)
Entry comments: I saw $PTIE being mentioned early in the chat room on some good news, I was watching ATOS and when I saw it again it had already took off and i broke a rule and chased and i knew it but i thought it could still push a little.
Exit comments: Like i said, i brought right into a wall.
Entry comments: Seen that this stock was up today on some news and was holding up pretty good. I brought it on the break out at 3.50 with a risk of 3.40
Exit comments: Was trying to set a stop loss at 3.39, and messed it up. So I got executed at 3.45. Small loss, even hit my stop loss point, but now back in the 3.50s.
Entry comments: Brought this due to the trans sec spiking, looking for a gap and run just like all the other companies.
Exit comments: Broke rules ( Cutting losses quickly & let the pattern come to you) and paid the price. Kinda froze on the trade once i got in was expecting it to bounce and spike like the others.
Entry comments: I have kinda been watching this early this morning, I really didn't have a plan on this trade. Emotional ( fomo ) trade really did it because to was a breakout, but didn't pay attention to the over head resistance.
Exit comments: The exact thing happened because i chased yesterday into the close and didn't really pay attention. Couldn't get out fast enough, shouldn't even been in the trade in the first place
