The last time COUP broke free from a triple top breakout in mid Jan of this year, he moved $20+ in about two weeks. What do we see here? Click the chart to see the better picture.

@dux Was wondering how often do you use level 2 to help you execute trades or that doesn't help at all ?

level will help see walls of buyers or sellers resulting in a stock being unable to pass or even get to that price which you can see with level 2

@Chen Chen don't trade if you don't have level-2 IMO lol Level-2 will be one of your best weapons going into the stock market..

@HeyJude Haha yeah well first i don't trade tired. Make sure i have a healthy breakfast is a start.. Then i do a http://finviz.com scan for stocks the night before and start building my watch list for the AM. I usually look for good oversold stocks on the RSI (40) then a good average volume over 100K trading, Beta 1 which indicates that the security stock price moves with the market. Once i do my research i add to my trade trade scanner which i built to give me indications of price movements!

Sorry and yes i started trading before Tim room I did not do any challenge because i have a good sense of knowledge but his lessons are good and i do listen to Tim videos lesson from time to time! I was only in his chat for a year. I am not in currently any chat rooms. I trade with friends in a office (4) of us. Maybe i might come back and see people in chat not sure yet!

Thank you ! Great info! I REALLY wish I wasn't in PST. Getting up and waking up for 5:30/6am is going to be the absolute hardest thing I've done in my life (and I've done a lot of things)!

And would it be possible for the gag to only apply during trading hours? I understand the rules during market hours but after hours you cant ask people any questions you may have about trades and stuff after the market closes.

Ok guys i'm issuing out an alert for those who don't know about a broker named Nonko Trading http://www.nonkotrading.com Complete scam and i'm happy i didn't open an account here! I have heard about them and the ridiculous 20-1 buying power to suck newbie traders in to open a account. I asked a couple of gurus only to find out Investorlive has already wrote a blog on them a week ago. I was NEVER a fan of offshore prop firm brokers for this reason. What is going on is that newbies are opening up accounts say $2,000 thinking they will get a buying power of $40,000 to play with only to find out that they are getting a practice account instead and nonko pocketing your $$$$ hoping you WILL LOSE your initial $2,000 anyways. Here is the blog Nate wrote as he has did a bit more digging about them. Stick to USA based brokers IMO. Good luck and be safe out there. Nate Blog on Nonko Trading Scam here. http://investorslive.com/2014/11/25/repost-about-nonko-trading-from-uneducated-trader/

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it. Hopefully those of us who can get away from off shore brokers will be able to do so sooner than later.

Thanks Kev. I was actually considering them, but have used Suretrader in the past and had no issues.

Trading materials i recommend for being a good trader. 1) Investorlive DVD's 1&2 (Tandem Trader), this is one of the BEST DVD's i ever watched on trading and gives you more confidence. Learning how Nate builds his watch-list, what broker he uses, how to read charts and react to many situation in the markets If you have the $$$ i would for sure invest it here learning from Nate. 2) Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas. This book is a must-read for anyone who desires to establish consistency in winning the trading game. If you just begun to trade or you are looking for something that is not another technical manual, this is your book. There is no technical jargon, but it is not a strategy or technical analysis book either. It will just explain why and how you can make money consistently and without fear on the markets. No magic there. He convinced me to think in terms of probabilities; and that it's not necessary for me to be right, only to be with the right of the market as a trader. 3) Stan Weinstein's Secrets For Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets This is my far my favorite.. Book is easy reading and provides the fundamentals to safe-guarding your capital. This is the best book on trading techniques that I have ever read. It is based on how to do "stage analysis," that is, looking at charts to determine whether a stock is going up, topping, declining, or bottoming out. The author stresses using stage analysis not only on individual stocks, but also on industry sectors as well as indexes like the Dow and Nasdaq. Anyone doing trading should know the information in this book....it's very basic, Stan teaches the minimum you need to know for success. But it works, and the information is presented clearly in very readable, friendly prose. 4) Tim Sykes PennyStocking Part Deux PennyStocking Part Deux is STILL IMO Tim Sykes' best video produced so far. This is a great DVD set and is recommended viewing for any one wanting to trade PennyStocks. You just can’t find this information anywhere else. Tim really knows this niche inside out and back to front. • Some topics discussed in this DVD include: • More discussion of the breakout pattern • How breakouts play out • Various timeframes use various charting software. • Media newsletter pumps • Good odds to short sell into dumb money. • Boring Breakouts • Breakouts • Breaking Out • Playing out • Intraday patterns • More Intraday • Fades • Bounces • News bounces

These are my 7 rules i follow and i think if you really stick to the rules you will do well also... 1) I Always cut your losses quickly! This is by far the BEST rule of the bunch! 2) I NEVER average down. Why add more to the misery? BUT i LOVE to average UP, meaning he/she adds to a WINNING position! 3) Chart support & resistance are the two MOST IMPORTANT chart indicators u will ever need to know. 4) Trading w/o a Level-2 and live charting you're already losing the battle before it even begins...It's a big no no! 5) It's very hard to make $1,000 but much easier to make $50-$100. So i try to pick trades wisely to gain that $50 or $100 dollars at a time. Patience is key when building up a small account. 6) Nothing is worse than when you're UP on a stock only to let it turn into a loser. To avoid that you sell on way up (or down if shorting the stock) in partials! Money in bank! 7) Keep your EMOTIONS out of the trade. Four Psychological States Of Emotion – Greed, Fear, Hope, and Regret.

The best risk management rules come from Tim Grittani's blog. I suggest everybody read it.

I agree with everything you stated but averaging down works if you have a solid company, like an earnings winner but the dip isn't justified and your timing is off. Typically, I use this for swing trades only.

#6! I'm getting better at that one. My early losses were watching $100 gains turn into $100 losses.
