Thanks for posting this - it's something that I find kind of annoying. I've learned to just shut up and focus on myself now. At the end of the day, I am my only competition. No two traders are identical
Cool, Tom! Nice blog on this :D I did not know that trades could be manually entered though! Sheesh.
Good to know!!!
Your Rock Tom thanks

@todddunnigan I read it all, that dosnt answer my question
Try calculating your risk amount before you take the trade and reduce the size of the trade to a more comfortable amount
@MasiJunior OK, to paraphrase what I wrotein the post, I'm taking a short break from trading to work on something that has been a consistent problem for me. Sure it's only 15 trades, but I've run into the same problem on all 15 trades and I want to work on it before Itrade again. Is that weird or something?
No actually i admire that you recognized a Problem after after a short Periode of time & now you work it out. Let us know how your journes continues.

hi masijunior are you still trading?
@elbonkar at the moment no, I am learining & watching the weekly webinars & saving up money again to go back to trading. As you might know I turned 8000 into 400. since 2-3 months I dont trade. but I really want to get back to trading
I still follow & look up some trades from you from time to time. I like that you really start very slow & small. I think that is the way to go insteat of bringing a huge amount of money into the market & trade like junky
I was wondering what happened to you. I do too fallow some of ur trades. Definitely taking small positions has made me be more intelligent with my trades. And now i fallow the price action, with more patience. When you'll be back? It's very good to stop and study i did it to for about a month.

@littlemoney Are you a tim challenge student?? i'm asking because i set my interview for this friday and i wanted to know how good it is
Please be realistic here. You will be asked a few questions & there is no such thing like "interviewing you & if you fit you can join" I am also a ChallengeStudent. Just sent them the $5,750 and you are in. littlemoney is right with what he says: I assure you he is watching and wants what is best for you and all of his other students. Stay dedicated, stay loyal and study your Ass off. You will look back and say wow
It's just about can you pay the $6k or can you not. Still tim wants just the best for his students.
lol
@FXSniper97 how was the interview ?

[TimAlerts] too many people follow Tims buy alert on $WILN look at my stats. I know what Im talking about
[TimAlerts] $GEVO comin back
This means that even though on my trading acc. there was 100k funds avaliable i never went into a trade with more than about 3k USD. That means a little less than 50% of my mental acc. My average exposure was about 2k of my 7k and i was tracking all trades in my excel spread-sheet and i am still tracking all of my trades for different strategies.
What i want to say it that i was treating my demo account 100% the same as i would be trading with real money. Of course it cannot be 100% the same because you still have more emotions when you are trading with real money but i must admit that i also had emotions when i was trading with demo because it was also important to me. Meanhwile i was learning a lot a watching dvds, video lessons.
That lasted about 8-9 months and than i started with real money again and now i am a better trader. Still making a lot of dum mistakes but definitelly better than i was. But you already know this because we have dicsoused already :)
This has worked for me, maybe it will also work for you but i cannot guarantee nothing. Btw a started trading with Suretrader so for every trade i have made i had to pay $10 for commissions and when i was trading with demo i have always deducted $10 from my profit and if i have made a loss i have also added $10 to that loss so i have really got a real picture how i am improving.

But i have one position in options open. I have CALL options on silver (SLV) i think i bought it in late jaunary and it expires in july. I am probably going to loose it all since at the moment it is worth zero, haha :) But i don`t bother, together with fees i am going to lost about $200. Funny things is that silver at the moment is higher than it was back in january but my options have lost all their value because of the time value. Didn`t know that time has such huge effect on options.
Yeah i need to study first before i am going to trade options again :)
ClayTrader & SangLucci are 2 very successful option traders/coaches
Yes. I know about SangLucci, he was also on profit.ly in the past. Thanks anyways :) But first i am going to master trading stocks and than i also going to look for other strategies.
