I remember 6-7 months ago late March when Tim Sykes started posting warnings on Twitter about the Marijuana stocks about to start heading down, and nobody listened to him including me... Coulda saved alota money by listening, and in my opinion heres what Tim is saying now about the overall market! "In the past week, the newbie friendly bull market has changed dramatically and I absolutely HATE seeing so many people losing so much money being unprepared for the market change. Lots of “nice people” lost a lot of money this past week and yet very few people reported it…the fact that I’m rubbing it in and exposing it doesn’t make me any more popular, but it’s the truth so I say what should be said. Newsflash, 90-95% of traders lose money, most people on social media/chatrooms/message boards LIE, this isn’t a game for nice people and niceties and being politically correct, if you worry about that stuff, you’re gonna get crushed." "Perhaps all these nice people should’ve read my weekly newspaper column from two weeks ago entitled “Timothy Sykes: 3 Signs the bull market could end soon” This is the exact tone he was using in late March early April when he was warning about the Marijuana stocks....so He has my full attention right now!
@littlemoney #2147-#2149 A great trade done by a student you should memorize
@MrAsianMan you meant PolishB. yeah he is on fire.If your not following him you should. He has been on fire.
@littlemoney Yeah, I did I came across PolishB when I first started like a 6 months ago. I see you're doing well as well. I havent been trading a lot... tied my cash in some long term plays to keep myself studying to trade smarter.

@ooitzkelvinoo How you been? Would like to thank you again for outlining a plan with me. Now a silver subscriber studying the challenge materials. Just touching base with you to see how you're doing... haven't seen you trade much!
..alot to dish out but could save me from blowing up my account, we shall see. Have you been utilizing the challenge opporunity? Anyhow, I hope you recover quickly from the tore MCL. Was it sports related?
Yeah it was sport related. I have to say I made a little bit more than I invested, but didn't find myself too comfortable. I have been fine tuning what works with me best but I love what Tim Teaches most. Psychology and having a game plan is most important for me and really following it. I focused on that while I was in China and only followed those rules because everything to me was so limited, so I had to take it very seriously when I was on my trade desk. In 2 months I was able to make 20-30k
Man!! I wrote a full on essay and it only showed my 1st paragraph... In short ... It's the value you get out of it. It taught me to stay focus and be disciplined. Tim's blog post of the top traders dos & don't made a huge difference to me. The value I got out of the challenge helped me fine tune my skills... Which helped me cover my last year losses, all the education I paid for, and a little bit of pocket change.
How are you doing with the learning process and trading performance? Paper trading or live with what you learned?

$EFOI announced its largest Contract "EVER" and the stock jumped from $6 to over $10, now we have a chance to "go back in time" :) and buy it for only .25 to .50 cents above the price before the good news came out. I like the risk vs. reward here, and buying contract or earnings winners on dips like this fit in Tim's strategy...so ya, keep $EFOI on your watch lists!
This is defintely a must watch stock. Tim took small profits since the bounce was not that big when it dipped. I am thinking about putting some positions when it consolidate more!
very smart MrAsianman!!

@PolisB hey buddy. My name is sam and am thinking of joining the trading community since I have just finished college and looking to make a living. I have got a couple thousand bucks and I am torn between subscribing between tim or nathan michaud at @investorslive . What do you think? I can only afford one.
I agree with H20, you really can't go wrong with either one...you are defiantly going in the right direction @samsantana
I have Nate's DVD... I think Nate is actually a great teacher when it comes to presenting the information to you where Tim can be all over the place (but still learn in a fun way). Good luck with your decision... I am currently a long term and silver subscriber... still new and learning from blantant mistakes lol @samantana
thanks @MrAsianMan @PolisB and @H20 you guys have definitely been helpful. Am glad you replied. I definitely take that into consideration . Am also looking forward to learning from you guys once I join. Cheers

Dream Big, Think Big, Start Small!! This Quote really helped me put things into perspective. Because I dreamed big, thought big, but didn't start small, and by not starting small it can cost you a lot. I always wanted to hit home runs, but now base hits are fine and I just want to stay focused and discipline. Note to Self: Start with what you have, because what you have, is plenty.
Hope your trading week is good. I been introduced to finviz.com regarding finding scans. Definitely a step up version from yahoo finance.
Yeah definitely it's good, I still can't fully utilize it (>.<)
Hope this week is good for you, are you in the trading challenge?
I wish! Small Cap Mil-looks great to me though, I'll sign up in due time ;))
I been looking at the trading challenge when my silver subcription and small cap expires. I do wish you the best of luck with the long term... just remember the strategy is different!
Yes-very true, because day and swing trading are different ;)
