March in like a lion and out like a lamb! You inspired me to post my dismal March summary as well. Too painful to post individual trades. Cheers to a new quarter!

You're killing it in 2022! That's so awesome! Perhaps March wasn't great for you but good job minimizing the losses

Today I close my worst month ever. First red month since May 2019, broke a ton of rules, my timing was almost ALWAYS off by a minute, on longer term trades I was off by a day, I did not achieve my two main goals pertaining to risk management, and I allowed myself to be consumed mentally and emotionally. October will be different because I will be different. No matter how bad the market is, I will be master of myself. Because I must.

I appreciate your honesty and as a new trader I also had my worst month as well. At least you’re aware of your challenges.. I’ve just lost all of my confidence. Tomorrow’s a new month! Wishing you the best!

@CippoNK1K Thank you! But don't be discouraged. Your confidence shouldn't come from profits or from being right all the time, it should come from mastering yourself. Or as Brett Steenbarger would put it in The Daily Trading Coach: "Self-confidence is not cockiness, nor is it viewing the world through rose-colored glasses. It's a quiet sense of, "I've been here; I can handle this.""

@CippoNK1K You've been though your worst month ever, and you're okay, what lessons are you taking away from it and how will it make you better?

Broke my rules and failed to keep the goals I made for myself just last week. So I'm taking myself out today. No trades until tomorrow. Act like a child, get treated like a child

Goal for September: To not have a single loss over $300, and to not let a single day's losses be over $1,000 in order to prevent my over trading and revenge trading from getting out of hand. If I plan on sizing up when the market gets hot again, I need to be master of my losses

Well, it took me a little over 3 months to get back to my profit chart highs after my big loss in May. It hasn't been easy, especially with the slow summer market, but I've proven to myself that its not over yet. I'm still pushing to new highs despite my struggles and mistakes. And the lesson seared in my mind here is that I never want to risk a loss so big that it takes me months or even weeks to make it back. It feels like working to pay off a debt and it's pretty demoralizing. There's not much more I can say except I will try to do better from here on out. I've also now experienced what a slow market is like and I can say I understand the importance of not pushing it when it's not there. Onward and upward.

You are having such a bad day just working to pay off a debt that is so expensive for sure because we need to understand how they are working. People can take them and be not able to pay off those money and for a lot of reasons the best cariant will be to take something like this https://paydaysay.com/2000-loan-fast.php and forget about all the problems. I am currently sitting in my new house without ever thinking about taking one more debt because I worked really hard to pay off my own debt an

Yesterday was a terrible day for me. Being dead right on LWLG, giving it a chance time and time again, and still getting screwed over and missing out on the perfect pattern. Then revenge trading and taking another big loss. Today I'm back to the drawing board and starting small cause there are things I have to fix

I'm very impressed by your accomplishments in your trading career. I think this can be achieved thanks to the knowledge and good skills, as well as experience. But I'm at the beginning of my career and therefore it is not so easy for me. Now I'm preparing for an interview and writing a resume. I found cv writing specialists https://uk.careersbooster.com/ and it made this task much easier for me. This is a very exciting moment and I hope that thanks to the quality preparation I'll get a positive

You must think about it, as many people are unaware of the location. I simply know from personal experience that if you have psychological issues, you should not entrust your care to amateurs who will only make matters worse. For instance, I read a thera-link reviews https://drmental.org/thera-link-review , which helped me determine whether or not to sign up there. Also read the preliminary analysis before making a decision.

It's great to hear about your experience, especially in your career. For me this is important because I'm looking for a job and writing a resume. I found a source that can help with this https://resumeedge.com/blog/how-to-check-if-my-resume-is-ats-friendly I realized that employers pay attention to resumes and this is how they select suitable candidates. Therefore, I decided to prepare as well as possible.

Well today was incredibly frustrating. Cut 3 trades right before each of them went supernova. Could have been a record breaking day for me with 16K+ in profits had I stayed patient just a few more minutes, but I'll have to be grateful for the $1,860 that I locked in. My concept of money is so distorted now...

I love how my commentary from yesterday was just proven to be correct as 2 good trades today wiped away all the losses I was complaining about. That's the power of cutting losses quickly and keeping things in perspective. Managed to turn this week green after all.

First day in a long time that I didn't win on a single trade. 4 decent size losses have wiped away my weekly gains and some. This whole week has been pretty shitty, looks like it might be my first red week since December unless I nail some nice trades tomorrow. Regardless, it's been a frustrating week where it feels like nothing went my way. The only thing I can be proud of is that despite my losses being a little big, they were all controlled and I didn't let it get out of hand with ridiculous size or getting stubborn, I was simply playing with bigger size (which was probably the wrong time for that considering the market is crap right now). Considering this was worst case scenario... it really wasn't that bad when put into context, my losses of today can easily be wiped away with one good trade. If you're going through something similar, keep your head up! Its part of the marathon.

The last 2 weeks have been absolutely terrible for me trading-wise. I had a beautiful run in January and the first 2 weeks of February and then decided to go to Cancun to visit family. Due to this, I was barely trading more than 10-20 minutes each day (if at all) and therefore missing out on a ton of opportunities that the market was offering while it was hot. Now I have a little more time to trade but the market has shifted dramatically since Thursday and I am not finding the same success. Thankfully, I recognize this pattern in my trading and looking at my profit chart I am aware that I need to be careful to not have another big loss or string of losers. I am aware that all the indicators are currently against me: busy schedule that prevents me from focusing on trading, poor Wi-Fi, frustration and desire to make up for lost time and money, a shifted market, a few bigger than desired losses, etc. And I remember a lot of these factors have lined up in the past and have led to big losses. So far I have been able to manage this drought pretty well (learning from experience) and I will continue to be careful and try to make the best decisions while I'm in these less then ideal circumstances, even if that means shutting down my laptop and not trading. I'm going to focus on protecting my gains and only trading A+ setups as best I can.

The hotel I'm staying at right now has terrible Wi-Fi so no trading for me today :( will look for a Starbucks or something with better wi-fi tomorrow 🤞

@sbrown4k Well good to hear you cut the loss, otherwise you'd be down more by now. Let this be the one that snaps you into discipline, don't wait for another huge loss.

I'm proud to say I'm stepping away from my computer today (or at least for right now) because my internet connection is very slow and I don't have my mouse with me, and that makes me uncomfortable. I still have the urge to trade and make money, but I'm CHOOSING to be smart and put that urge aside for the sake of protecting my account. I saw a few good opportunities this morning but I didn't feel like I was in control with my faulty touchpad. As Sykes always says, make trading work for you!
