@Ninja0n3 Hi, I was following you while back, where you were talking about software you coding. I am wondering if you completed it yet and did you use it in real account ?

Hello, I haven't completed all the features of the software. But I have used it in real trading, still needs some fine tuning; though I haven't had as much time to work on it as I got caught into bigger trading related dev projects :)

That's cool bro. I have Questrade account and I am trying to do something small for easy and quick entry wihtout double notification and easy to cancel the trade with confirmation. As the confirmation msg sometime cost me money or eat some of the profit.

I might ask questions when I start it. if you don't mind.

[TimAlerts] what would be the idea behind getting into VLTC at this point?, it already had the original spike, and bounced yesterday with a red day today, not sure it has the push to bounce again in the coming days

[TimChallenge] Might start playing more of them, I made nice $$$$$ on VMRI & AXMM - Keep getting burned on Nasdaq stocks especially Chinese ones like $AMCN which has killed me so many times (puke)

... too many will slow you down (lost my previous text). I would orient it towards as much auto-trading as possible rather than manual.

I do actually use it for my blog in terms of posting: http://www.redandgreen.ninja (I adapted M. Covel's Risk management to suit my needs and made a post about it) - As much as I like the idea of automating everything, I currently lack the knowledge to develop a proper algorithm that would allow me to let the program do all the trading. In the mean time, I remove as much manual interaction as possible reducing my interaction to only a few clicks.

Nice job Ninja. I haven't used IB but your program would still be useful for me, looks simplistic too which is always good. I like the interactive watchlist, how you can set trade variables, and how you can export it. If there was a way to link the watchlist to an excel file on your hard drive that'd be sick.

Thanks you Lucid, exporting to excel or CSV is not really a big deal. I haven't looked into implementing it yet, as I don't use excel much. The idea was to keep it simple yet keeping it useful enough for live trading :) Still a work in progress and ways to go!

[TimAlerts] it depends, usually they last for a couple of weeks, TLPY got axed early because it got the attention of the SEC or Seeking Alpha, can't remember

[TimAlerts] oh, smart... i guess $COLV alone may not be available pre market... i think thats the case with some stocks... probably low ass volume ones

Ninja0n3

[TimAlerts] what are you expecting from $SGNL? it dropped $8 over the last 7 months, I think it's not worth looking at unless you have a good catalyst to back it up
