Yes that is correct.
You can get your first pdt violation removed you just have to call the broker
The person I got told me it's locked for 90 days Period. Unless I deposited 25k. It wasn't that big of a deal just used my other accounts.
Yeah you have to let them know it is your first one. I had one once when I was on vacation a while back and they took it off no problem but it could depends on the broker

I would recommend you do that first for a time until you're consistently profitable. I had to learn the hard way. Study, study, study! Then, study some more! Find mentors to follow. I follow Palmer, Arick, Tim G., Tim S., Michael C., and Scott C.
This is a race won over time, not in a sprint. Think Marathon! :)
Find a broker who has a deal with free trades and start trading it's the best way to start in my opinion. Everyone does good paper trading. I opened an account with 300 dollars and had free trades for almost a year (really lucked out with the deal they had going) and I learned more then just trading. I gained experience in the different types of trades (limit, stops, market), how I like to trade, violations ( you'll be glad you learn these with a small account) and many other valuable lessons pa
Your going to want to paper trade first off Thinkorswim free practice account.. I started with 3 grand. 2500 is a good amount to start with

Might just be something to hold on to. If you look at the company's chart history another spike is inevitable. Sorry to hear about this. I dont like the PDT rule, but as I have heard Tim state, the good thing about the PDT rule is that it can stop you from overtrading. When I'm at the PDT rule I have truly think about if I get into a stock, is the risk holding overnight REALLY worth it. Only with an extremely good catalyst will I trade if I'm under the PDT rule. If I do trade when against the PD
It's to late now but if you ever get in a pet situation again you can still trade and get the margin call removed because you're broker will drop you're first violation

I think you get confused between resistance and support at times. An example being yourtrade on BSNO where you say it has support at 3.20 but I see it as resistance because it's a point that the stock can't breakthrough. Now it did have a breakout over 3.20 but once it starts to fade you should see that as a point of resistance and a signal of a failing breakout not as a level of support.
BNSO*
@Pig_Demon fair point if it can't break over and stay over it's resistance I'll keep that in mind. Cheers.
@Jonk87 Good call. I obviously still have a lot to learn. Thanks

Shrting $KERX after watching @timothysykes videos I learned that usually a stock will probably crash after it's up 20% which is why I decided to short $KERX at 5.15 Also by looking at it's 6m chart I was able to identify it's mostly bearish THANKS TIM! :D
Because I shorted at 5.15 and it is at 4.77.... Yes, obviously you can buy it as well as it is going long, but you can also short.
Haven't seen it hit 4.77 maybe 4.97
I'm out now though trying to play it safe at the same time :D
