My last trade of the year was just like my first trade of the year, a loss. I bought right at the open as it was going up and by the time I looked at my execution price it had already topped at $1.28 and began to fail. I tried to be patient and let it bounce but followed my rules of cutting losses quickly once they reached my max of 10%. I ended up selling at the very bottom and it ran back up to the mid 1.20s which is where I wanted to sell.
Just a little scalp trade here. I was torn between trading this stock and NVCN, as it turns out NVCN was the better choice. I bought right at the open anticipating a spike but it didn't spike immediately. It didn't drop much at the open which was promising, so I stuck to my plan and waited to see if it would spike. When it did just a shot while later I took small profits and got out.
My first trade after 6 1/2 months of not trading. I had a full time paid internship where I worked 12hrs a day and just didn't have time to trade. After that ended in late August I slowly got back into the stock trading game. This was a small win as far as percentage gain and amount of money made but it was a big step in the right direction of learning how to trade again. Looking forward to day trading again and making $$.
Wow, just wow. I chased and got burned. I should have bought premarket at .70, once I saw it taking off I tried to buy but it kept running past my limit price so I had to keep upping it. It then dropped really fast and I sold quick but not quick enough. Went from my biggest win yesterday to my biggest loss today. I'm still in the green but if I keep making these mistakes I won't be for long. Lesson learned - take action. If you're confident that a stock is going to spike, buy it premarket.
Many people BANKED on $PRGN and I was no different. I'm glad that I made this trade and profited handsomely but I'm mad at myself for not executing my buy order for 1700 shares at .47. I could have made SO MUCH MONEY. However I'll take a %77 profit all day long. My account just grew 64% and I'm no longer in the red because of this 1 awesome trade.
