Not how I wanted Friday to go at all, bought this thinking that it was going to continue to go up but ended up buying it at the exact high point for the day. Had I gotten in sooner I would have made some money but instead it dropped significantly. I waited and was fortunate enough for it get close to where I had bought it so I didn't lose too much. This doesn't always happen though so its best to cut losses quickly.
Last trade of the month wasn't a profitable one unfortunately. Looking at this now I'm not sure what I was thinking. I had a bunch of other stocks on my watch list that ended up doing what I predicted they might do. Go look at SALT and think about if I had gotten in right when the market opened. If I had done that, this post would be much different. I didn't do that though. Luckily I cut losses quickly when I saw that there was no hope for it.
Big loss on this trade due to me not understanding some of the regulations when it comes to trading. I bought on Friday after already making a little profit on it but I couldn't sell it that day due to the funds used to purchase it with were unsettled. Had to wait 3 business days for the funds to settle and the stock dropped like a rock. Would have been a good short, but I'm not confident enough to short yet.
Although I made a little profit on this trade it could have been a lot better. Right after I got in at $3.55 it dropped down to $3.15 then not seconds after I sold it at $3.91 it finally broke the $4.00 mark that I had been hoping for. Good thing about this trade is that it covered my losses from earlier this week.
