@Legion Hi. I'm new at this. Any suggestion for someone that can't afford Tim's Dvds? Any book, youtube video, tutorial that can help me? Ive been watching some youtube videos from different people but sometimes they use different techniques which makes it harder to understand. Thanks.

@Santopa I recommend saving that $200 until you have at least $500. One to two K would be best.

At $200, you will get eaten by fees no mater which broker you go with. I like Etrade so far. It has excellent exicutions but again, at $200 you will get eaten by the $10/execution (so a minimum of $20/trade) That is 10% of your account right there. Even if you went with TD that would be 5% in fees. Save, Study, Paper Trade so that when you have your $1 - $2K account, you can work it

Lastly, once you find a teacher whose style you like the best. Devour their blogs, free videos, lessons, and books. I know Tim Grittani, Michael Goode, and Mark Crooke have a Lot out there. Find a style you like. Don't make the same mistake I did and try to do "All The Things" That tends to go poorly as you start mixing up which queues go with which strategy.

I was looking to get Tim's Dvds but are extremely pricey for me. Still learning from different Youtube videos from different people which makes it harder because every video talk about different techniques. Sometimes I get lost.

To start having a feeling of trading I was thinking in investing $200 which Broker do you think is going to be more beneficial?

Frankly, $200 is too little money -- fees will eat you up. Go out and save up a couple thousand before opening an account. Then look at Etrade or TDA

@acheese23 Congrats on your winnings! I am just starting to trade options. Are there any tools you use that you wouldn't mind sharing? Is there anything like Level IIs for options?
