Accountability post 02/01/2021-02/14/2021 I watched most of the live webinars and video lessons emailed to me over the past two weeks. The two that I missed I plan to watch either today or tomorrow. I am halfway through with watching my mentor's videos. I plan on finishing this up in the near furure, and I want to start watching the watchlist videos he posts too. I created a watchlist for him every day the past two weeks except the day after my disastrous $SLV trade. I took this day off to remove myself from the market and to collect my thoughts. I have been doing very well on my watchlists. Ellis is really happy with my strategies, and gives me pointers on the ones that need work. I have been trading off of my watchlists, and I have made a few small gains. I am still listening to "Hedgefund Market Wizards" by Jack Schwager. I took a break from lifting weights because of a pinched nerve in my back, so haven't I been hitting the audiobook as much. I am still listening to Michael Covel's "Trend Following" podcast when I am driving around the city. I finished reading "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" by Edwin Lefevre. It was a good book, and it taught me a lot about market maniputation and trading in general. It was hard to follow in some places, because there is slang that he used that is over my head. I got the gist of what he was saying though, and I found it helpful. I started reading "Dark Pool Secrets" by Stefanie Kammerman. Wow, Wow, WOW, what a great read! I couldn't put it down, and I finished it in one day! There is a companion DVD that came with it that I plan to watch today if I get time. She doesn't just talk about the dark pool prints in the book, she also gives her day trading and swing trading strategies and the technical indicators she uses for high probability trades. She definitely matches my technical trading style, and I love her system. I can't wait to test it out with some options paper trades. The next book I am reading is "The Psychology of Trading" by Brett Steenbarger. I purchased Tim Grittani's "Trading Tickers 2" DVD, and I have watched Chapters 1 and 2. So far, I am pleased with it. I am looking formward to the chapter on spreadsheets. I have been watching the market everyday. I check tickers that other traders call out, and I determine if they are tradable ot not. It's a little excercise I like to do, but I don't trade them. I am starting to see the difference between a high probability trade and a trade that isn't worth it. I was able to sit on my hands all day on Friday the 12th even though one of my picks ALMOST lived up to my plan. I am glad I had patience, because it ended up failing. I am still sticking to my professional routine, and I am very confident of my success in the future!

How exciting! I am going to have to look for some of those books myself.

I'm really happy for the way things have been going for you. I need to start listening to those audio books, just to get other perspective and additional information. I probably should read that book you reference by Brett Steenbarger.

@StefanSchwarz13 it’s supposed to be one of the best books on trader psychology there is. He was interviewed in one of the Matket Wizards books, I don’t remember which one. It was a great interview.
