Tim Sykes is always teaching us that we have to adapt to the market because it's always changing. I think we all felt that this last week of February 2021. Though nobody knows how long this upward market will continue, it really feels to me like it's leveling off.
In anticipation of a changing market, yet still trading with my 10/31 Profitly blogpost strategy of dip buying OTC's at 20% off HOD or previous close, I've started working on a new strategy I'm calling the Super Sale Strategy.
THE STRATEGY IS TO BUY RECENT RUNNERS within 2 weeks of their HOD, that were in the Top 4 BIGGEST % GAINERS WITH VOLUME on the OTC for the day they ran [in my preferred $0.009-$0.10 price range], AT ~50% OFF & SELL FOR A 30% WIN. If you step back and look at the 2-month chart, you'll see that the quicker the recent runner falls to 50% off, the quicker it will bounce just like you see on a 1-day chart.
My first buy using this strategy was $BMIX on 1/29. I bought it at 8:30 $0.045 which was 55% off its HOD 3 days earlier on 1/26. Since the price kept falling, I did another dip buy 8:34 $0.035 for $0.04 avg. On 2/1-2 it was at $0.045, on 2/3 it bounced up to $0.048, and 2/4 it peaked at $0.052 up 30%. I was testing this strategy so I didn't shoot it yet but I noted the 30% bounce.
I also used this strategy on:
$SING 2/23 $0.032 64% off HOD 2/9 $0.0888 which bounced to 2/25 $0.0423 32%
$HIPH 2/24 $0.015 59% off HOD 2/12 $0.037 which is flat ranging +/-10% $0.015
$LCLP 2/25 $0.01 45% off HOD 2/24 $0.0184 which bounced to 2/26 $0.0130 30%
THIS CONFIRMS WHAT I LEARNED FROM TIM GRITTANI 3/2/20 Challenge Webinar [3:17-8:30 mark of recording] that Tim typically targets ~30% profit on intraday breakouts.
REMEMBER, THIS IS A BOUNCE PLAY. Though bounces sometimes bounce higher, sometimes they don't bounce at all! Tim Grittani's advice, that I have proved out for myself, is expect ~30% bounce.
So, at the end of every day, write down the Top 1-4 OTC Biggest % Gainers with Volume. Then set an alert on STT for those stocks to go off at 50% of the HOD.
