Unveiled a knowledge-enhanced backtracking search algorithm which caused the price to skyrocket, was even halted a few times. Then it dropped back down to go negative on the day. I bought in on the dip as it found support and was starting to uptrend again. But it couldn't hold up and continued to sell off.
Company released news on getting positive results on killing cancer cells. I thought this was huge news, so I bought at the bottom with support. I was getting suspicious that there were barely any buy orders and the volume really dried up. I had a stop in the 2.80s. Suddenly the price dropped to the low 2's instantly with NO HALT. And it kept dropping and dropping. The company announced an offering.
Had a lot of volume, afterhours it started uptrending. My biggest buy to date, this was the perfect stock to push my limits a little to help train my emotions. I took a big chunk out before the end of trading to lessen the risk overnight. The next morning it had a great spike and slowly kept taking more profit.
The stock was showing strength and had a good support pattern. I got in right when it started to pop off, it popped off and I was trying to get out, but my order wouldn't execute. Then a sudden million share sell went through and dropped the price way down! It literally dropped 15% in one second. Then I averaged down in hopes that it would bounce back with all the strength, but it was held down and sold off even more. Cut the loss and pretty sure this was manipulated.
Overnight trade on a multi-day runner, seeing if it has another breakout in it. Unfortunately hit my stop and couldn't find the strength to hold support. I have to stay disciplined and take my losses, so I don't have a repeat of what happened last time I didn't take my loss early enough. Maybe try and find a better entry next time.
Dip bought a runner on news that it reached a positive milestone. It was uptrending and had a lot of volume. Sold into my stop loss, but it didn't drop after that. It's funny that whenever I do stop out the price immediately turns around and comes back, and whenever I decide not to stop out it continues down... Every single time.
Was trying to pick the bottom of the stock after the 2nd day run. Unfortunately, I timed it wrong and DIDN'T CUT MY LOSSES when I should have. I kept thinking: "Oh, it's just going to scare me out... oh I don't want to waste my day trade it will come back in the morning." No, this mother f'er dropped hard in the morning and even still I kept waiting and waiting, and the very minute I decide to finally cut my losses to try to protect myself from it going even lower, I had picked the very bottom..
