Scroll down to see in-depth stats, at the bottom of this page explains why I'm using SureTrader as my broker.
Showing the gain $ brackets on my trades, as most of you know I lost $8,900 the start of 2016 trading BCEI that remained my biggest loss as you can see I have a lot more higher winning gains then losing.
Percentage return brackets, my highest % loss was 19% my biggest percent win was 32% not including the 40% I won trading SKYS on Friday
Profit.ly has a community of over 100,000 Traders, they take the top 100 traders and rank them on various stats.
As most of you know January 1st my SureTrader Account was funded with $80,000 and ready to start trading, 2016 has been my first year using SureTrader your probably wondering why would I fund a big account with them? Well Iv'e nearly used every broker over the past 3 years, I was aware the majority of my students had small accounts so before recommending a broker, I wanted to test them out for a few months and review my own trading experience, now I won't be writing that review until my website is up but I will tell you this.
SureTrader is designed for three types of traders.
Traders who want to bypass the PDT rule (No limits using SureTrader you can make as much trades as you want per day)
Traders who're seeking a large amount of buying power, sure trader gives you 6:1 so if you deposit $2000 you can trade with $14,000
Traders who want to be able to short sell, sure trader is by far one of the best short selling brokers.
Now if you have an account over $10,000 and don't care about PDT rule I highly recommend Interactive Brokers, I also recommend Etrade.
The problems Iv'e encountered using SureTrader is Execution, and high fees. When placing an order sometimes I only get partial filled and have to hope for the price to climb back to my order entry so it gets filled, the fees are a bit high the main one that hurts is the ECN fee, they also have a short selling fee if you hold overnight which is 1% of your position other then that though I love using them and are by far one of my favorite platforms suretraderpro, I also withdraw my money every week so the balance reamains $80,000 at all times, eventually I will switch to Interactive Brokers but as of now I will continue to use Suretrader.
Does the T+3 rule still apply on SureTrader for accounts below $25k?
@WillKaraman oh wow that's great. Thanks for the info
Awesome, am always keenly interested in your watchlists.
