Ok, So we all have lost on a trade, and when starting out, sometimes losses can really sting. Especially, if so many others have made really awesome amounts.
In my book, the ability to study and have the mindset to always be learning is key-And Tim's #1 Rule of cutting losses quickly is still a part of a winning strategy because it proves that:
A-We knew that it was not succeeding-and could not qualify to be a good trade. Recognition is just as important as a win.
B-We are able to use control and restraint to a proper degree. This take discipline and practice.
Having the right attitude is also of very high importance.
When we take a loss, we must also do as much as possible to not let it completely crush us. Yeah, so many of us use that emoji of the mad face blowing up-it feels like a poop avalanche-and for us traders that post our trades sometimes posting our biggest loss tempts us to second guess our honesty on whether or not to post it. lol
Going with a winning momentum is crucial. I am very hard with myself, because I like high standards ;) I love constructive criticism because self improvement raises the bar.
Never put yourself down when going through a loss-even though it is going through your mind. Acknowledge which mistakes were made, and post them in a concise way on the wall close to your desk. Keeping positive is an important part of the mindset of the trade-and I'm not talking about being fake or that everything is so la dee da all of the time.
The winning mindset is a trait of an emotionally wealthy person. Check out this vid called "The Secret" to *overstand* more on this concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae5-ifkbmie5-io
It is the concept that our thoughts really do indeed create our actions!
This a way of raising our conscience-ness. It is also a form of powerful activism, because the one thing that can not be confiscated is the power of our will.
Doing things that raise our energies helps us catapult our determination into our actions with a quickness.
Being supportive and empathic instead of hateful or condescending raises our vibrational energy.
Eating foods that are alive and not acidic also rocket propels us with more energy on many levels.
So many of us traders burn the candle from both ends. Having more energy than others-being grounded, centered, focused & disciplined give us a winning edge!
Try skipping coffee for a few weeks and have yerba mate or green tea with stevia-it actually BENEFITS our bodies instead of tearing them down.
Try keeping an alkaline body by avoiding soda, processed foods, coffee, refined sugar, meat and dairy for a while.
If you are person who loves these things like I do-try taking a break from them with the goal of avoiding them for a while to build up our energy levels.
Getting toxins out of our bodies also helps to increase energy levels. Heavy metals and build up of free radicals deteriorates and sabotages us in the worst way.
Using natural detoxificants are an effective way of cleaning the body. Toxins build up in the body and rob us in multiple ways of preforming at a peak, diligent level. Toxins can cause: a negative outlook and depression, cancer and other diseases to take hold, and toxins can also cut our energy levels in half.
Just imagine how much better you could trade with double the natural energy, an even more positive frame of mind and a more attractive inside and out. This is a winning combination to help take trading to that next level where most people just brush health aside, get burnt out fast, trade recklessly, and indulge irresponsibly causing a chain reaction of poor decisions.
Just like a nice car can not run with water or sand in the gas tank, using detoxificants like activated charcoal, diatomaceous earth (which is an abundant source of silica to keep all nerve functioning optimal is extremely useful)
and spirulina (a blue green algae is a protein which contains all essential amino acids, and tons of other amazing compounds)
will help us take our body mind and soul to the next level up=allowing us to make stronger goals=more solid actions and=more well thought out disciplined trades ;)
