My account is under $25,000 so I'm limited to 3 trades only. I traded twice on Friday none of which were AQXP, but I was watching the stock waiting for it to break $3. On my last trade bought @ 3.08. Within seconds the stock dropped down to 3.02 and I CUT LOSSES QUICKLY! YAYYYY! I followed the RULESSSSSS! Consequently, I hit my max trades. Of course we all know what happened to AQXP.
So I'm here to say: Don't ALWAYS cut LOSSES. I missed out on a enormous opportunity to grow my account in one day. It's not like I can trade conservatively, I have a small account so I have to trade aggressively to get anywhere.
Don't take the RULES as if they're written in stone.
