After the 60 days you need to pay for it?

No you just sign up for an account and after 60 days you won't be able to login

Yes but paper trading account has delayed information. Only the charts are not delayed. Thank you for the information :)

@dandan80 Haha Yeah luckly enough, since it made my overall short go down to $14.85 a share i suddenly was $0.33 under resistance which it bounced to a few times before. But it just kept dropping :)

If you want in a stock bad enough to use a market order then you best rethink your trading. LIMIT ONLY. ALWAYS SPECIFY WHAT YOU WANT TO PAY NOT WHAT OTHERS WANT YOU TO PAY

Thanks Kasey21, that's the information I was looking for.

Market orders just go through so many hands by the time it finds a seller that you are skinned alive by all the parties involved in the discount online retail broker world. If you want something badly, hit the ask with your limit, if you can't get executed that is not the best sign anyways. Good post though on your thought process!

Great post Ike. Loved to read your comments on it. Played VLTC too but sadly I lost because I failed to see the pattern you saw. Probably shouldn't have played it since it scared me. Still learning.

Dude, you did a hell of a great job trading. Banking is banking. I have the same fears, but when the setup is RIGHT, you have to go with it! Congrats on your success, and many more trade!

@SameerG My bank lets me paper trade in a fake account but none of the trades ever executed properly so I just gave that up. Now, I just write down the price and the time I buy it and sell it. Apparently, Interactive Brokers lets you sign up with free paper trading account.

I feel you, it always felt to me that those paper trading ops were a little off.

I was offered a 7 day paper trade to start with st, did open an account with st but never got to paper trade. I feel it is never the same, I always did better trading paper trades, but when money was on the line for me was a different story :-)

If you mean $500, then I wouldn't bother. I don't think any of my strategies would work with such a low amount. I would be better off taking the trades hypothetically with a more realistic base like $5-6k. Otherwise brokerage will kill! Just my observations though, your strategy might differ.

Sure Trader is the only broker that i know that will let you open up an account with $500 buck. I have a suretader account and it does me fine for the time being. I will move to a better broker when I get up enough capital. Trade well my friends!!
