@JLLOYD Yeah, I agree. It's part or money management. Trade like a businessman. Make $100 to $200 a day then stop trading. Do that everyday and cash out consistently. Trade with the same size, scale in scale out. Keep emotions out.

Some days you might make a killing. When you making a home run that's my queue to stop trading and wait the next day. And cash out of course ;)

@ericgtm I agree 100% with every thing you just said. Start with 5k and with draw all earning for the month. If earnings are substantial and your confidence has grown increase to 10k for the next month. And 5k each month this continues up to 25k. 25k is the max I would put on any one trade until I grew more comfortable.

@HoneyBadgerTrading Its strange that Joy has dropped all the way back to the support that it bounced off 3 days ago. I expected more up trending today.

Thanks. I've actually gotten a lot better. I'm getting closer to trading at 90% accuracy after I looked over my trades and figured out how to find the most high probable trades. I figured it out paper trading and journaling a lot. I've been back testing it and so far it's been super solid. Can't wait to go live again! I see you've been doing pretty well with your trades.

Good and same with me just started looking through mine and focusing on those setups only ... Really need to clean up my trades because it's split up into so many small gains because I normally scale out of my positions slowly and post them as I go

What I do is I trade only thought whole or half dollar marks. I usually trade with 1000 shares only. And I use certain simple moving averages and exponential moving averages to find my highest probable trades. I look for bullish cross signals and when they happen on multiple time frames I know I'm guaranteed money. There are different types of scenarios for this one trading strategy and I've been figuring them all out. And know when I need to be cautious and sell quickly or if I can scale out wi

Are you trading with a lot of money (>6-10 thousand) or are you paper trading? Either way, everyone has their own strategy, but I would personally stay away from these high priced stocks because I believe they don't have as much short-term potential as lower priced ones and I found that I got burned by some higher priced stocks (like 60 dollar stocks from your former trades). Also Tim teaches these more volatile, low-priced stocks so they're a little more predictable. Just my thoughts.

Yes I'm still short the stock. I took the day off from trading so I wasn't tempted to cover. I believe it will sell off again on Monday. one huge up day and then usually two to three down days by the chart history. no guarantee that pas performance will be the same but I will try to close with a profit and be patient. not paying shares lending fees and Monday shorts will probably happen again since up so much from the low two days ago. thank you for thinking of me. it is all ok. lesson be in lea

Im curious to know what you look for with level 2. Because i use it too, i just want to see if we know the same thing.

@ericgtm oh yea i used to use MACD a bit too. I'm not great at level 2 yet. hard to find anything that shows real time without paying a mint. But I'm better at watching time and sales somehow

No wonder you're not winning. You're not using studies and you don't have access to level 2 nor do you have proper level 2 education. Plus you probably don't have specific buy strategy.
