Hey there Jack... I see you're also in the UK, I'm after some start up advice please. I've spent a couple of months signing up with various traders only to find they don't trade or short the stocks that Tim mentions or they don't allow non US people to sign up! Then I found suretrader but see a lot of negative feed back about them, they take ages to set up accounts, funds go missing and on the first sign up page they ask the most difficult questions plus they want 3 profession refs (one from a bank manager!!) Can you offer a newbie any advice please as I really just want to get trading ;-) Thanks - Myles

@jacksim I just wrote a reply and it disappered! Anyhow.. i am knda in your shoes aswell. I was looking to put up like $5000 for my first account but Tim gives Suretrader soo much crap in his vids i am kinda scared to sign up! I could technically use $10000 to open an IB account as long as i could release some of that money when i signed up...not sure you can do that tho? Im not sure it would be a good idea to dump 10 grand into your first account, right?

I have been using Suretrader about 3 weeks now and i seem to get on with itr eally wel - it is everything that you need for starting to trade. Yeah once you open an account with IB they will not let your equity ever go below 10k. Tim says to always have more than one account as Suretrader isn't good for shorting stocks, however, i havent had a problem with it. Completely down to you! I wish you all the best mate! Hopefully we both make a shit load of money together - always here for advice or eve

Hello mate, nice to know! I went with SureTrader as i only had $5,000 max account and it was the easiest to open an account with. I have heard Interactive Brokers is very good but you need a minimum of $10k to open an account with them.

[TimChallenge] If you are long NUGN from $1.67 that's a nice win - The bid/ask on my platform are 2.08/2.09 at the moment - It's risky to hold this pump and dump o/n as could dump fast at any moment - Good luck whatever you decide
