[TimChallenge] (think) are you watching $SPY ? ... if you watch $SPX500 https://www.tradingview.com/e/IkVnXuBe/ .. it is down of ~ -$17
@Gis4Gucci Hi, I see that you trade just a few amount of shares. How do you define the amount of shares for any trade, considering that the commissions cost of @suretrader is really high?
@jscmal Thanks Girolamo :) Happy New Year to you and yours! I have been making myself trade small to turn my account around. 1 trade every 3-4 days (treating it as if it was a 25k account) so as to build my confidence slow and steady. I follow global finance and the outlook is rather serious. WE CAN get this. I just had to slow down and watch pattern after pattern-cutting out too much coffee helped too. Lets chat again soon, bro ;))
[TimChallenge] $CYTK - I thought it was an OTC because i keep those in a seperate watchlist i accidently put it in there..
[TimChallenge] if instead to invest yesterday losing $200... invest today shorting $GILD my account would just up a lot, maybe almost doubled
[TimChallenge] I see that $GILD went down over $1 then if you get 200 but also 100 shares... in any case you can get good money
[TimChallenge] following the $GILD behavior in this moment... I see that the level 2 is completely usefulness... order are going too fast and you don't don't understand the situations using it. In this case Price Action is the resource.
[TimChallenge] $GILD is pushing on the new support... "tanking"
[TimChallenge] I shorted $ADXS one half out ago.. and definitely it was not a good entry. not it's testing the support newly... if it will break down... I could be safe :)
[TimChallenge] on $BAS
[TimChallenge] $ZAGG .... no volume, could it fade in the afternoon?
I have $4.95 per trade up to 10k shares deal with them. And if you get bought out on the bid when buying and sell on ask when selling is minimizing ECN fees to $0.25 cents per trade. I use mostly 200-400 shares because it is giving me more leverage to exit losing trades faster. With entry on a good setup risk of trade going against you is minimal. Say I buy 400 shares at $5. My risk exit or hard stop will be at $4.95. And if a trade starts going in my favor I'll move that stop to $5.05 or $5.10.
1Gis4Gucci Jan 03, 12:23 PM Profit taking starts at $5.25 and up for profit compounding. 5x$100=$500 on $2k invested is 25% return and $100 is easy to take.
