$I-It appears to me that the projected spending that management has laid out is below previous levels meaning that they should be able to pay down their debt and from the report is some of the possible reason why the stock has spiked without anyother catalyst. Projection in this stock is favorable at this time. $ABIO There was a huge gap down on this one but the news is good so maybe it will recover, I might place a trade in the anticipation of a spike
@kobayashimaru never thought about the projection being favorable because of that. Will watch this stock today! Thanks for the input!!!
@simsdaytrade thank you!! I am going to use stocks to trade paper trading to practice first (although I did buy some of AKER yesterday with real money!!) Keep us posted on how it goes on your end with $I
@kobayashimaru good call! I am waiting to see one of the patterns I learned before I do anything either :-)

That's awesome that trading is working for you! How long have you been in the game? Also, I had 3 jobs at one point and two of which were small businesses and the other was teaching full time. I think some of us have this kind of drive and hustle in our blood :-)
@juleeatina I have been trading for roughly 3 years now. I do believe we do have a hustler mentality!

@RoyalTradez24 Now that I am reading more about stocks to trade, I see that they offer paper trading to practice. I want to do that first before the real thing. I am hesitant on the monthly fee (large amount for me), but it seems like it would be worth it in the long run
Good luck to you on your new adventure. It's exciting and cruel at the same time.
I know Suretrader and thinkorswim have free trial to papertrade. It doesn't come close to the real thing though, but it's a start. DAS has papertrading but I think the monthly fee is $100 which is insane to papertrade. Good luck!
Thinkorswim platform makes me cringe inside and hate things though.

@juleeatina, Congratulations and welcome to day trading! Thank you for the thanks and you are welcome.
Nice watchlist man, how do you do your research?? What are u mainly based on to assume or speculate a stock is spiking or is falling?? I've made some watchlists but I rarely find what I spected :(
Well, sweet questionnaire girl, I look at 15% gainers with high volume and have moved/spiked that day. This are also potential shorts depending on the market that next day. As well as multi-day breakout set ups like Cup and handle, or something that slightly failed after spiking but did not lose gains. These are great patterns for potential breakouts. It took about 2 years to learn what style works best for me personally. So don't give up.
