This otc runner got the buyer beware notice which I knew would kill its run. I was able to find the last bit of shares at IB and got short in premarket. I look the patience approach on this and would cover under $1 where it came from. The stock really died and I covered 2 days later. Very sweet trade to close out this month and 2018.
This stock had a massive run yesterday and was gapping down today premarket. I took a position with the goal of catching more sell off. I added at the open when it failed to go red to green. The trade was working for a little until it broke back green for real this time. I had to protect myself so I covered. The stock didnt hold green for another 10 minutes before panicking back red and then faded all day. This was a trade worthy of a re-entry.
This stock is having a speculative run and kept holding up. Into the close volume was picking up and I decided to take a position for a late day run. I didnt want to hold overnight so I was specifically looking for a quick run into the close. The stock made new highs but the strength didn't last. I sold out for roughly breakeven. Can always re-enter tomorrow without overnight risk on a sketchy OTC.
This stock was gapping up with an ugly long term. There was no morning spike and then a panic so I shorted into a bounce soon after. I gave this some time to work but it wasnt selling off like I expected. With trying this new setup I played it safe and covered pretty much break even.
After watching this sell off even more after I covered for a loss, I realized this was still acting exactly the way I wanted. I got short over the weekend. Come monday the weed market was gapping down big. I immediately tried shorting more at the open but I couldnt get anything filled. The panic down was a little more choppy this time around but still solid single.
