@yawnabit thanks for info. I thought from everything I've heard you needed $25,000 to day trade. I'm checking out robinhood. Thanks again
If I wanted to short a pump and dump the short price is .65 and the cover is .25. am I buying 2 X's and getting difference in profit. Not sure how it works.
I think you're confused on what short selling is. If going Long, you expect it to go up from your entry price, for shorting you expect it to go down from your entry point. Just think of it like that, you can only bet on it going up or down. Long is betting Up, Short is betting down
@matt6268 basically, shorting is selling first and buying at a lower price to close out the transaction
@matt6268 But, that is a drastic simplification

@matt6268 sorry man that other link is tripping. https://2alive4925.svbtle.com/how-to-buy-afternoon-breakouts
@Legendario i appreciate your feedback, i will look into the trades and look to cut losses quickly if they go against me, so far all of them are playing out as expected, even if it churns a bit. But thank you for your feedback
I deleted it because i saw i was wrong you were right, and i left up the one saying thanks for your feedback, because i still did appreciate the feedback. I updated what happened and given the good risk/reward i walked out with about a 35 dollar loss on a 1900 dollar investment. I was jumping the gun i admit it, Thanks again for your feedback. Props on your good trading @Legendario
I updated the post and added my exits as well
