Hey Huddle - wrote you on Twitter too. I recall you told me which broker you use now (which platform?), but what did you use 2-3 years ago? I don't have the money for platform fees right now. Do you suggest I just stick with TD Ameritrade for now and use the limited ETB's that they have? What did you do or what do you suggest? Thank you!!

This is what I need to read today. Thank you so much. I've been in the trenches since starting this challenge a couple years ago and my profit chart should look more like -40k. I'm doing everything I can to not give up and trade smarter.

Fantastic post. I've read a lot of takes on investing, work and wealth - this is by far the most concise and insightful representation of how that journey should be experienced.

well done, breakouts first green days are my patterns as well. love key support, entries to not get shaken out, taking profits along the way, and psychology of short shellers

Hi! What helped you the most? What helped you with consistency? You trade longs - me too! How do you deal with discipline to do the set-ups you like/know? Thanks! :D

@HappyMoni Wow! Thank YOU for reading and responding! I am touched that you were inspired by my writing and journey. The markets do teach us a lot about ourselves. It's truly more of self-mastery than market mastery. You are welcome to follow along! :D

You always comment on my posts in chat. You're a good supporter! Thank you! I hope you're doing well. 8 months into the game and it is taking me THIS LONG to shake off chasing at the top and just buying when it looks right without always waiting for good set-ups. Hopefully I am turning this losing ship around now...

good reminder to focus on your main setup, cut losses let the math work itself out, continually seek out knowledge, identify which trades to focus on

@Jasrai I started with about $12.5k, and added another $11k after I lost about half that initial amount.

Thank you for this post. I have locked myself into a money-losing pattern. Hard to break stupid, bad habits. This post encourages me to stay focused on what DOES work. Thank you again.

I am encouraged! Thank you for this post, for the reminders and for telling me that you used to use STT but that you use Equity Feed now. Thank you! I must do better on discipline and focusing on a smaller number of set-ups and STICK TO THEM without allowing FOMO to get to me! I know I NEED MUCH MORE DISCIPLINE!! I need to turn this losing ship around!!

great reminder a few big losses makes a big difference, track your trades to find your strengths, narrow your focus and play the setups that fit you best, bet conservative, refine your exit strategy to capture bigger pieces of the moves.

Great post. Yes, we all have to be patient. I'm glad that I have a J.O.B right now to allowing the ability to pay bills and learn at the same time. Focus on learning and the patterns. The money will follow.

@JeepTrader Me too! Haha...got anice part-time gig going. I want a $1M dollars to keep me going for the next 60 years! Yes, patterns are SO important. They do happen aagain and again - some more than others. Patterns make our trades more predictable, more confident, more playable and bankable with less losses.
