I trade part time. Yes I also got involved in STT. I was using Worden's Telechart. When using STT you need a powerful computer as it sounds like yours in crashing this implies the spec of your machine doe snot meet the miniuim spec. Whats the difference in trading stocks & spead betting? are you profitable from trading? how long did it take you until you really got it & was confident enough to trade with real funds? i still use the paper account & i think i will until i start to consistanly grow my paper account. ive realised i need a decent laptop so once ive got the money ill be buying one. i was thinking of opening an account with td direct investing have you heard of them, i think the american version is called td ameri

If you have the money try to get IB as a broker, they have the best commission structure, especially when you start with small sizes to practise!
