[TimAlerts] VCEL conference call had bunch of mentions of expecting growth and incurring costs in the near future. They stopped short of saying that they would need to raise funds, but you can almost read between the lines. So this is not that surprising, though it is a bit shitty. They should have just stated that on the conference call, this actually probably hurt the stock more than had they announced it two days ago.

[TimAlerts] They announced stock dilution for VCEL that's why it has been taking a/h https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2016/12/15/898217/0/en/Vericel-Corporation-Announces-Proposed-Public-Offering-of-Common-Stock.html

[TimAlerts] someone posted this the other day against VCEL - I wonder if the circulation of this is the reason for its decline - http://louisianarecord.com/stories/511048989-vericel-corp-accused-of-damaging-cartilage-sample ... just weird for me to see a stock with FDA approval drop that drastically after only 2 days of the fda news being out...but maybe that's normal
