for desitantion buy or sell orders, only limits will work and, on etrade pro, Buy> Desitantion tab> select Nasdaq 7am-8pm. If you leave it set to AUTO it wont be valid until market open

its really just personal preference, i would suggest watching the tutorial 3-4 times and figuring out what tools you like best, dont forget each layout has 6 different screens if you look at the bottom of the program you will them, so you can set up like 3 screens for just charts if thats what you want but truthfully theres no cream of the crop setup. i always have my watchlist 1 chart, level 2 and an order execution screen on my main page. even down to how u can customize your watchlist is cool
