Thank you for the vid :) I really like that you are getting more and more disciplined. Also BIIIIIG congrats on that cover, that was how everyone should trade, look at the past chart, the time you are at and seeing the same pattern repeating. I learned a lot with it!

Thanks. Yeah I understand. Also, if I may ask, I checked out your site 808boosting. What is that all about exactly? I'm curious

It's a hobby having to do with video games. Nothing to do with trading, but one day the dream is to make it big trading and help contribute to the community.

I'm not sure. They may have a 2k minimum

It depends how much money your account has. I really like TD Ameritrade but the cost of commissions for a small account would be tough. For a smaller account Interactive Brokers would be good. I've heard good things about Speed Trader too (For a bigger account).

IB you need 10K to open an account! I think Etrade is $500. Speed trader is $15K to open a new account so it depends on how much you have!! Suretrader my be another route but they are an offshore broker

Try calculating your risk amount before you take the trade and reduce the size of the trade to a more comfortable amount

@MasiJunior OK, to paraphrase what I wrotein the post, I'm taking a short break from trading to work on something that has been a consistent problem for me. Sure it's only 15 trades, but I've run into the same problem on all 15 trades and I want to work on it before Itrade again. Is that weird or something?

No actually i admire that you recognized a Problem after after a short Periode of time & now you work it out. Let us know how your journes continues.

Great words of wisdom Ike, thanks. So far I've been more successful with my own trades than following any alerts. May the force be with us.

Thanks Ike, I have planned at least one great trade that could have worked out beautifully, but listened to others and did not execute. Plan your Work, and Work your Plan!

3330 shares, on how big of a account? Don't use too big amount at a time. Maybe a 10-20% max. You was too emotional in my opinion, sure it's hard not to be, it's our money it's about. Set lower/upper limits, i had a 20 cent limit downside on $FORD. Holding overnight now tho. And upside i've got 30-60 cent limit to get out on. Even tho it's gonna climb more, it's better to lock in profit. Same on downside. Always better to take a small loss than a huge risk. GJ THO, :)

Thanks for the feedback guys! I agree I was probably way too emotional. Need to get that under control. Thanks!

Although the reasons you gave for holding on was valid, this stock could have turned ugly on you. Also since you had taken quite a large position, if you felt you were right you should have downsized your position say by 1000 shares. This would have meant you could have reentered the next day( if your thesis still prevailed). Overall it worked out for your good, but lets say it was a lucky escape.

You may want to size down for a while and learn how to take a loss like a man. Don't be a bagholder, especially not with penny stocks. That is very dangerous. But hey, I am glad it worked out for you this time...nice profit!
