@criggs821 I saw that you are more of a long bias, as in the long side, do you love trading breakouts or dip?

@eight Etrade is a good broker for short stock but if they don't allow you to short what going to happen now that we are entering a bear market? Maybe you should check out Interactive brokers or even Suretrader until you grow your account.
yeah, maybe soon. I really have a very small amount of cash to trade in my etrade account. And still Im not in a margin account and I can't short stocks. For now I am long. Can't short and commissions are tough when trading a small account. Actually I don't have a job and trading now is my full time work. Im under PDT rule, can't short and have a small account in etrade. It sounds like a scuicide right?haha

@eight I don't live in US so I don't use Etrade have you checked out Interactive brokers
me either, yeah I do. but the problem is they required me to have a $10000 or more to open an account with them. I only have $1700 in my account and I use etrade. so basically all of my trades are at the long side. I really love and wanted to try shorting but inorder for me to short stocks I should have a balance of $2000 (margin account). But I don't know if etrade is a good broker for shorting stocks

@eight I buy or sell what ever the charts say but I spend a lot of time studying and screening stocks at present it seems that I am doing a lot of short selling but that is because there are a lot of stocks that are over bought if you visit my wall you see I do not buy thousands of shares as I am still building my account up so I only increase my shares once a month as long as I have made good profit if I do not make good profit for the month I stay at that amount of shares until I make the profit I expect to make. I use to trade Forex for over 10 years I was not that good so I came across Tims work and liked what I see so I study hard between 10-14 hours per day. Concerning my brokers I use a number of them mostly in the UK but I do have an account with Suretrader, Interactive brokers, City trades, IG Index, CDM, just to name a few. We have been lucky so far with the Bull market but I think the second half of this year could turn out to be a bears market so if you don't short sell I would advise you to learn as it is always good to go long or short. The more time you put into your trading business the more you get out if you look at Tims best students you see they are the once who put a lot of time studying remember study hard and in two years you could be standing on your own and enjoying life.

@RussianBear Hi it seems that you are more of a short bias, what broker do you actually use for shorting?

Hi ike, do you have any twitter accounts?or what social media sites that you are active sharing about your career in trading?
I used to be on twitter but I found it to be distracting so I deleted it. I recently started a new twitter account but haven't done anything with it yet. I share stuff on here via blogs and am giving personal attention to some guys this month who bought my ebook
