Bought pre-market with No clear R/R set in place. I never trade pre-market and I rarely trade listed stocks (at least for now). Sold for a tiny loss but to be honest, I just sold because I wasn't familiar with such a trade. If only I had set a clear and acceptable stop loss, I wouldn't have sold it prematurely. In the end, MULN was the biggest % gainer on listed stocks and hit a high of $1.95 lol. Good to know I was on the right track.
High probability trade setup. Biggest OTC % gainer. Big spike at the open and held its gains all day. Consolidated at/around VWAP for almost 4.5 hours. OTC Swizzle pattern. My goal was to hold for a HOD retest and ideally BO, but for some reason, I sold at 0.0044 and soon after it retested the highs and set a NHOD. Good trade since the trade idea was there was not a great trade since I didn't stick to my initial trading plan. If a trade is going your way, there is no need to sell prematurely.
Had news. Spiked right out the gate from .0018 to .0021. Came back down to .0018 by .0019 with a strong 24M bid vs 2M ask. Bought 350K shares at ASK as it was about to be taken out but then it held and after about 10mins, the large bid was taken out. Time of day was not ideal. Should always wait until after 9:50/10am as I noticed the stock/price action offers a better picture then. Glad I sold before theBid got taken out as it dropped to .0016 and hasn't moved since.
Had the right idea from the beginning as I was watching this ticker for a reversal, which doesn't always happen, but all the right signs were there. Bought in at $14.70 (a GREAT entry) waiting for an "11am bounce", but then sold for a small loss when that "big" red candle happened at 11:43am which made a new low. Took it off the radar and came back to it later to make a foolish trade.
Bought on a dip and sold for a quick profit but overtraded this ticker and gave back a decent amount of my profits after getting faked out on fast turns and unable to exit quickly. Was up almost $400 but then gave most of this back and was left with about $130. Live and learn, take your money and RUN! and learn to NOT over-trade
