Over the weekend paper trade. Looked strong and it was.
3DS Small gapup kept above r/g going into 7am, worth r/r, vol never came in and only had traded 228k atb 9.17am too much risk due to past history of 3DS low vol on open and the fact on day 2 it had big red 5min candle at open.

Big ouch. Surge looked strong and failed. I regained what I could when I realized that what I believed was 25 shares was 125 so MUCH bigger loss. Basically my mistake cost $21
Entry date Sep 17, 2026: Bought 80 shares of AEMD for a $7.98 average. RCT play, bought in pre-market when it hit the top body of the first red 5-min candle, big % gainer with news, 18.8x float rotation, 1.59M float, former spiker. Goal was $2 spike. Risk/reward was 1:2, $1 downside $2 upside. Exit date Sep 17, 2026: Sold 80 shares of AEMD for $7.30. Did not squeeze, sold at risk level.
Gave it one more try as it looked like it was starting to break previous HOD but it started to wick @ the top of range & intraday was close to opening which is very volatile so exited with small profits to protect gains. Good small singles & lessons learned with both trades.
This had everything I look for in a stock to trade....news catalyst, low gloat, high volume & high % gainer on the day. Unfortunately the stock didn't move the way I thought when I entered so ended up exiting with small gains just to play it safe. Better entry would have been the initial leg up after news was announced.
