Late afternoon buy looking for a mdbo, small size. Got up to just below mdbo level of $8.80 and then fell apart.
Trade was doing nothing wrong I just panicked and didn't let the trade play out when I reentered. I gave away another $1 a share. Lesson I was very tired and making mistakes should have just called it a night instead of being stubborn and revenge trading
Stock appeared on short squeeze scanner. Thesis was Stock had been up for 4 days so lots of shorts trapped. Entry reclaims on PDC. I was impatient and sold after first red candle then price ran from $4.45 up to $6.21. An increase of $1.76 which would have made my day. I must stick to my trade plan.
Tried buying in as it was making new highs on the day. I tried buying in at a lower price, but my order didn't go through. Instead of abandoning the trade as it continued to climb, I chased it. First mistake, my next mistake was not getting out when the price stalled and started dropping. Gotta get my timing down and better control of my limit orders.
Dip buy for another move through hod, it wicked me out, did pop back, closer to close. TF acct. This was two trades, one 10 loss and one 5 gain.
