Thanks to @HebrewHammer tweet I was able to see the bottom of $CAS and shorted the bounce... pattern right out of @timothysykes HTTM. Best trade of the week. Feels good to be learning and seeing that financial freedom is possible with the right education. I'm itching to trade real money but being disciplined and focusing on education first. Awesome. Thanks guys!

What paper trading program do you use?
looks like thinkorswim

Do you think that most of these people are really BS posting their profits? Isn't profit.ly verifying their profits, or are they not transparent? WOuld appreciate your feedback as that comment really threw me off just now..
@blaketrade some are some aren't. Trades are only verified when you link it up to your brokerage account and there is a check mark next to the trade. Technically I dont "Verify" my trades on profitly for security reasons but if you follow me on Twitter, I post up to the second entries, exits, thesis etc which is my way of verifying my trades. There are definitely people on here that are full of shit and others who are not but even as a newbie, you should be able to decipher who's legit and who's
@blaketrade full of it.
@PennyCoffer Thanks man much appreciated.Long story short I drove around a few gangbangers that had guns in the car and I was driving them around for 4 hours while they made their drops. I was too scared to really say something so I just drove them around and then finally got them out after 4 hours haha. Pretty scary but I laugh about it now because I made $200 on that fare which was solid!

Update on the current multi-day swings I have in play. I'm hoping to close some out this week but truly depends on the charts.

With seven swing trades in play I feel like I have too much on the table to add more and decided to observe the open trades today rather than adding more. I may place a trade tomorrow to further practice my watch list building and day trades. All but one are currently in the red, though all but $RJET are still holding the pattern on the daily chart and show progress to becoming profitable. $RJET wasn't supposed to be a multi-day swing but was halted on the 7th after the company filed for bankruptcy. Luckily it is a very small position and currently only down $16. I hope to close out some of these if not all by the end of the week, but it just depends on the charts and if I see an exit trigger. $GRPN -1.98%, short with a target of $3 to $3.20. NADL -10%, long goal of 10-20%. $RADA -14.94% long goal of 10-20%. $RJET -1.50%, long, looking to exit as soon as ticker is traded again. $SDRL -4.43%, long goal of 10-20%. $SKY +14.03%, long goal of 10-20% VCEL -14.02%, long goal of 10-20% Overall investment P/L: -6.29%

Took a couple small losses paper trading today. I stuck to my rules and indicators so I'm happy about that. The one thing I'm kicking myself in the butt over however is that I didn't take profits on my $XCO trade when it was a profit of a little over $200. Though in my defense the indicators appeared to show further potential upside.

I placed three paper trades for the day but wasn't able to close out the positions due to some technical issues with TOS. Hopefully I will be able to close them out tomorrow and that I'll still be able to do so with gains. I would have closed all three with small to medium gains today. $AUMN $FSI $RJET

At first I was planning on just starting to log the trades from the 1st of this month, but I figured since I already had the paper trades blogged about on my blog growing-the-lincolns.blogspot.com I went ahead and entered all of the paper trades I've done. I still have a long ways to go with improving my trading and the fact that I'm sitting at a 39.29% winning ratio and with a P/L of -$91 I clearly should be paper trading before returning to trading with my money accounts. I'm truly thankful for this site, its a huge bonus to have as a learning tool and to keep myself in check with being honest and transparent.

Congrats on $CAS. I totally messed it up today buying. The 15 min shows a perfect bear glad. I'm going to start using the 15 min chart now. Thanks! :)
