Gap up short. Good entry on top of the chart, after two stuffed candles. Should have added the other 250 shares when it bounced up to $5.80 then take 1/2 of the first crack to 4.85 and the rest close to end of day. I Keep getting freaked out and sell even though I have shares to add. Need to reverse my thinking. Left about $250 on the table.
Gap up short but only 45% and was already fading at the opening. Decent entry on the opening candle when realized that it wasnt going to spike further risking PM high. Uggly add on on the next red candle, but did save some for a spike. But then I just freaked out and covered when I could have made 10% on my money by 12:30 PM.
Gap up short. Decent entry as soon as I got shorts avaialbe. Goo add on @ 9.42 on a green candle, should have added on when Sykes exited @ $3.55 area the rest of my shares and let it ride down. Sold too early all of my shares and not waited till end of day. When stock gaps up on air ( <200K shares premarket), it will crash further and should let it ride down.
Bounce Short. Good entry on the first candle, under SSR, risking $4:15 premarket high and the resistance level also. Should have taken 1/2 profits @ $3.25 then add back on when it spiked back to $3.60. By not taking some profits, it freaked me out and covered on a spike, and didnt wait for the multiple drops all the way to $2.75 later in the day, which would have brought me breakeven for the week.
First green day. Re entry after got shaken out by one stuffed candle. Pretty good initial entry, but the add on should have been a lot earlier, when the stock is fading down and should have covered into the panic in the $5.05 area. Instead I was sweating, didn't sell into the 3:30 panic, even though I had the opportunity and got squeezed up leaving about $100 on the table. Little mistakes add up.
First Red Day. Decent entry, not so good first add, stupid second add right where I should have covered. Next time, full in when its within risk range, risking off of G/R from previous day. Then cover when it hits bottom and turn up and dont look back. And dont get shaken out by some uptick that doesn't hold and its within risk range. After that back down to $5.01 mid day.
Gap up short. Realizing that my entries are really bad. Red candles, and on the bottom of the candles. Need to get my timing down. Just waited till next minute and $.10 higher. Risking HOD, so I should have been in full position. Added when cracked the support at $6.16, but should have been faster and not wait for a bounce. Didn't take profits good. Got squeezed at the end and left about $.50 on the table.
Gap up short. Rule is if you played the stock 3x, you leave it alone. But I want to make my money back that I lost this morning. Well son, that money is gone. Let it go. But then here comes the morning crack from $6.24 to $5.30. Good entry on a green candle after the bounce, then a good add on top. Bad exit after another spike, rather than waiting for the pullback.
Gap up short. Third time is the charm? Bottom of the candle entry after seeing the stuffing, then adding a minute later, on top of the candle. That's how it should be done. Check out the first stuffed candle then buy on the following candle close to the top. Decent exit when it freaked me out as it wasnt breaking down. Then a few minutes later down to $5.42
