Another loss to my collection. This one had crazy volume pre-market on the news that came out. With the way this stock was racking up volume, thought for sure it would have shot up and surpassed the pre-market high. Again, I was wrong! Not sure at all what I am reading wrong. This is a worse hit than yesterday’s.
Not sure what really happened on this one. If I remember correctly, volume was around 17 million pre-market but when the market opened volume just tanked. Much larger loss than I wanted. I got stubborn and just knew it would go back up. Well, it didn’t! Glad I got out when I did because it did nothing but fall all day. Could have been much worse.
Looking through my watchlist for the day and really wasn’t finding anything worth playing then I get an email alert from Tim talking about VERO. So I check it out. Lo and behold this was my play for the day. I watched pre-market build up a bit and decided to jump in at 1.72 with a 200 share position. In 1 minute it goes up and I am out with a little over 9% gain. Quick! Too bad I didn’t hold for 2 more minutes, could have gotten out at 2.10 or 2.15. Take my single and try again tomorrow!
This trade looked like it would be a real winner. Volume was real high pre-market and thought it was going to continue after the open. Instead, volume went flat and the play reversed on me. Could not get out where I wanted to minimize losses but it was only like $22 loss. Losses are part of the game. Time to study some more!
First stock I looked at this morning in my search for a play. Had a crazy 42-43 million of volume pre-market. Watching the movement for a few minutes and determined that it was a worthy play. Jumped in at 0.57 with 525 shares. Thought it was going to spike up a lot considering the volume. I was wrong but I was able to get most of the move for the day and out at 0.65. Nice 14% gain in about 8 minutes. I will take it every time!
I honestly don’t know what it is about this stock, I lose each time I play it. I see it going one way and it goes the opposite. Lost more than I should have, Should have taken the quick $11 profit I had before it went south and I lost $30. I seem to have trouble getting out of this stock each time I play it. I submit a sell and it drops quicker than I can get out.
This was a trade I should have never played. I wasn’t in the complete right mindset this morning. I felt I was searching way too many stocks for a potential play and was having FOMO. Weather was terrible today. Chalk it up as a lesson learned….DO NOT TRADE IN THAT TYPE OF ENVIRONMENT!!!! I made $80 profit on this same stock on Friday and just gave back $65 of it, guess I felt charitable today!..
Another great play for myself! I saw volume going crazy pre market (17 million) and saw it should run at opening bell. I was right in my thinking but it got halted at like 9:33 for a minute or two. Set my exit at 1.16 and was executed. Thought about canceling that sell thinking the volume was too great to go down after the halt. I was right and should have canceled and changed exit price. In the next 5-8 minutes it went to 1.40ish. Oh well! Got my single. On to the next play.
