I got stopped out of this trade and instead of trying again at a better point, I got scared and didn't try. Could have also been a bit of frustration too. Next time, need to stay calm, breath, re-access the situation and come up with a rational plan and try again or possibly add to the position, which in this case would have proven wise.

This trade worked out well. I lost my focus during the trade to check my phone and send a text message at exactly the time there was a mini panic that I could have covered into for a much larger gain. I have to remember to stay focused while in a trade and also to get more size on a winning trade like this by adding after it's going my way. This was a small starter position.

Bought near the high of the day after watching several dips earlier in the day that I could have bought into. It went down hard immediately after I bought it and had to wait for it to come back. Got out of this one very lucky because it went sharply down for the rest of the day after I sold it near break-even. I should have stayed away from this play because I was emotionally destabilized after a large loss earlier in the day on the same ticker. Felt out of sync with the market all day.

Bought on a morning spike and got stopped out in the ensuing morning panic. Became very frustrated and down on myself after this destabilizing loss. Came to the market unprepared by not preparing my trades the night before like I usually do. I also went to bed very late and was extremely tired during trading hours. Not making excuses, just trying to make a note of these contributing factors so as to correct them in the future. Next time wait for a good entry point instead of chasing spikes.
