Really bad trade right here. Not so much of the loss, but rather how my reaction was, how my timing was, it was all bad. I was hoping for a gap and spike giving the gap from last night/this morning. But my broker got me in at $3.93 rather than $3.63 like I requested. Was hoping for it to spike back into the low 4's.
Entry comments: Took an O/N position of 850 shares on CHOOF at $1.01; I am not happy with my entry, (rather get it in the 90’s) but I feel like with; good volume, good news, closing near (at) it’s highs and a multi-year breakout pattern- there is a good chance it will gap and spike for tomorrow morning and a chance to sell it into strength.
Exit comments: No gap up, instead saw a morning panic and got shaken out. Cut the loss and move on. Potential dip buy latter on.
