Saw this previos runner starting to spike with volume on the 2nd candle. Chased it and as soon as I bought I lost internet connection on the work ipad. When I got connection back, it ripped all the way back down and then some. Crazy how these things can spike and then come right all the way back down without holding. If hadnt lost connection, could have seen it top out at 3 and could have exited for a break even or maybe slight gain. Dont chase.
Earnings winner with a trending up pattern that I put a horizontal line on and was using that line as risk but it did shortly pull back and rip through that so it stopped me out. First trending pattern that I have taken and noticed it didnt work. Noted. Maybe stick to more of the breakout plays. Something to keep in mind and see if it works on other plays. Stock was under VWAP
